We stayed during the summer and had an enjoyable 2 days around the area. The hotel was very comfortable and spacious however the room that we stayed in had a large window in the bathroom which was lovely in daylight but we felt wasn't very private of a nightime. It would benefit from some sort of shutter or curtain. We also asked for a double bedroom but were given a twin. We didn't ask for another room as we were only there for 2 days. Other than that we found it a nice place to stay with friendly helpful staff and would definitely stay there again.

I stayed in a Superior room for a week in early July 09. I was pleased with the Hotel and cheerfulness and assistance of the Staff - this certainly contributed to the enjoyment of my stopover in Chamonix.

Great location, but horrible noise in the evening. The main street was right outside our window and kept us up at night. It was not a pleasant sleep.

Great location right in the centre of town. Old world charm. Staff were very helpful. Ski hire downstairs was great too. Only downside was the singing in the main street in the early hours but that was not too bad.

From Paris: direct access via autoroute Blanche E25 - A40 highway. Take exit direction Turin/Milan/Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. Continue on A40 highway and onto road N205. Follow indications for Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. Once in Chamonix, turn right onto rue Joseph Vallot, La Croix-Blanche Hotel is located 600 m ahead on the left.
From Turin (IT): after the Tunnel du Mont Blanc follow road N205. Continue onto Route Blanche direction Martigny/Chamonix-Mont-Blanc.

By airplane
From Geneva - Cointrin International Airport (GVA), daily bus transfers are available via SAT bus company, until Chamonix centre.

L'M Restaurant - Brasserie is the ideal place if you want to sip a glass of wine on the terrace while enjoying the great alpine scenery around you in the summer, or need a heart-warming French crêpe after a long skiing afternoon.
A la carte menu includes traditional Savoyard dishes such as delicious cheese fondue and raclette, but also pierrade or grilled meats.

L'M can host 160 people in the dining room and up to 220 on the terrace with view over the Mont-Blanc Mountain.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. Check-out: it is necessary to leave the rooms not later than 11 a.m.

Early departure (stay length reduced) : 100% of the total cost of the original booking will be charged as cancellation fee.
