It was very, very good days in this hotel! Great mountains, many of activities around, beautiful views. Helpful and professional staff, good european breakfast. It was a pleasure.

Small, clean & quiet room but poor view (in fact no view if you have a room viewing to the forest).

Nice hotel, smallest room ever, cheap but still expensive for such a small room. Expensive breakfast (9euros!)

We had the sweetest stay at Chalet les Campanules, which is a nice hotel. The employees are very helpful and very friendly. The surroundings are very beautiful. Our room had Mont Blanc view and a little balcony. Very nice ;-)

Great location, awesome views from mountain side, forest side not too shabby. Avoid rooms on the top floor as loping roof gives an attic feel.

Rooms were very disappointing. Pictures on internet of the hotel fom outside very nice, however rooms inside much lower than expected standard (poor quality of bed, of furniture and towels, shower in the room, scare space)

This Hotel far exceeded our expectations. One of the reasons we traveled to Chamonix was to scope it out for our ski holiday next year and Hotel Chalet les Campanules will defenitely be on the shortlist for Accomodation Options.

This was our first time at this hotel and we only stayed one night while passing through. We arrived out of season and so no food was available of course. Mind you we were not tolds that coffee was available at breakfast time. But the person on the desk was most helpful and went out of his way to advise us, talk about the area and gave us a room with an excellent balcony view of the Mont Blanc area. So we were pleased with this hotel given the "closed" time of year and circumstances. We would come back and recommend to others.

The Hotel is very friendly. We had a lot of space in the room to dry out wet clothes. It's an ideal place to stay for hiking in the surroundings. We received our money what we expected.

we had an excellent family room with a beautiful view of Mont Blanc from the picture window and balcony. The food was excellent and readily available. The English spoken was very good and we would certainly love to return.

Noisey Quarry and Motorway below hotel did cause disturbance. The views were outstanding. Rooms had a very poor layout. Walks from hotel would have been good to have marked maps. Food was good, staff were helpful. location was fair for the focus of visit in Chamonix at the NorthFace event.

Not what we expected. Difficult to find using their own directions (wrong way). More like a youth hostel than a Hotel, very basic and run down. Bedding had not been changed from last occupant and no towels in room (Bedding changed and towels supplied after complaining to staff). Breakfast extremely basic for price charged.

This was the only hotel on our trip that we didn't know much about ahead of time (we booked quickly), so we weren't sure what to expect in terms of quality. We absolutely loved it - the wooden ski-lodge look and feel were great, and the staff were friendly and attempted to compensate for my complete lack of French-speaking ability. The drive to central Chamonix (if you're going to take one of the several lifts around Mont Blanc) is nearly instantaneous. I'm hoping to go back to the area this winter, and I'll definitely look up Les Campanules again.

The room was more expensive than quoted. Otherwise all was fine.

Finding the way to the hotel was complicated due to lack of signs and ongoing road constructions. It appeared that the hotel could only be accessed from one direction from a major dual carriageway

Spent 3 nights here and found the Hotel in a great location. Breakfast was fairly bland and basic but overall we had a great stay. Staff were very helpful and only minutes from bakery and supermarket was a bonus.

We had a wonderful stay at Campanules in a room facing Mont Blanc. The rooms are clean and spacious. The room offers excellent value for money and restaurent is good. Located a short 10 min climb from Les Houches station. The passes offered by the hotel makes commuting in the valley very easy in case you do not have a car. But you need to take the last 1930h back from Chamonix(15 mins by Train). Would highly recommend this hotel to travellers across the spectrum.

Nice place in a beautiful area. It's close to the main road but still very quiet. It,s very close to Italy and Switzerland in case you want to go there too, The view from the rooms with mountain view is really beautiful. From the rooms with forest view you might even see wild deer very close to the hotel.

The hotel is clean, comfortable and the staff friendly. Breakfast is pretty chaotic - insufficient cups. Directions to the hotel are totally misleading and not all the locals know of the hotel.

We only stayed here one night but the staff were the most helpful i have ever seen. The staff gave us a train ad bus pass for 5 days for free! Booked taxis for us as we could not speak french and even organised for us to be picked up. The only negative is the long hill you have to wlk up and down from the train station but it is only a few hundred meters but would be exhausting after a long day skiing.

The chalet is beatiful, however, the room we stayed in was not the best. It was very small even for European standards. But other than that, we enjoyed the location and the friendliness of the staff.

The hotel was clean, quiet and had very comfortable beds. Our hotel manager was very helpful throughout the stay, assisting with internet usage and complimentary cell calls. Would definitely return in the future.

Perfect hotel for what we were looking for. I would recommend it, especially for the view onto the Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi. It is away from the town, so you need a car and good walking capabilities to go there. There is a restaurant on-site that is good.

a very nice stay, though it was just a night

When we arrived, after booking 1 night on internet, they accepted our wish to get a second night for just double internet price. Finally the enxt morning, the weather was bad, we renounced to keep the second night, and again they accepted to change and we paid only the first night. Main defaults : our room was very small with two single beds (we asked: they don't have any double bed) and without TV. The hotel is situated quite far from village (about 500 meters with a high slope to walk). The hotel is probably good for people wishing to stay 1 week for trekking or skiing in mountain, in a quite familial atmosphere. But for couple as us who wanted to visit Chamonix, it is not the ideal place to stay.

BEWARE this hotel is VERY out of the way of Chamonix and is very hard to find! It is about 4 miles away from Chamonix and is up a random hill making it difficult to find physically if you have luggage and are without a car. Once we had hiked up to the hotel and found it, it took about 10+ min. to get any service! Our room was NOTHING LIKE the pictures online! It was extremely small with 2 twin beds (not a double like we had ordered) and had NO windows or air!!
