Hotel Les Balcons du Savoy - Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

Very pleasant experience at Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. The view from our room is very nice. the room is very big and is fully equiped with all the facilities you need. it is in a safe and quiet neighbourhood, 10 minute walk to the city center. we stayed at the apartment type room (there are 4 people in our group). however, a bit dissappointed that there is only 1 bedroom and the other 2 ppl need to share a sofa bed in a living room.

Ski resort, our stay was in quiet season, and is a bit off the beaten track but view was fantastic. Rooms good but no servicing. Breakfast available in room if ordered the night before.

Our family of three stayed in an apartment here i the autumn. The value for money was outstanding. The apartment was very well appointed, the rooms spacious and the views amazing. We couldn't have been happier.

This Hotel offers excellent value for money. It's location was much closer to the Centre of Chamonix than the map indicated - a plus ! The common area it edges onto also gives the feeling of more space, plus the views to Mt Blanc & the Glacier are exceptional. We would happily stay at this Hotel again.

Very good

The apartments were perfectly adequete for our needs. I know 4 stars can be very objective but if you want clean tidy rooms with a reasonable living space for a short time then this is that. It was warm and the heat was adjustable. The only improvement was it could have done with 1 more arm chair. We had a problem with our shower and it was fixed that day.

Pretty deceiving! No restaurant. Unable to have a breakfast. Room very far from the front desk. The overall ratings made by other guests and put on Venere.com website do not represent the reality. I will not go back to this hotel.

Love this hotel! We had an awesome time staying here. Location is very convinient, just a few steps away from the town centre and the parapenters can land right next to your hotel. The staffs are friendly, helpful and speak good English.We had a 2 bedroom spacious apartment with good size lounge,fully fitted kitchen, dining and balcony with the view of MT. Blanc. You get more for what you have paid for.

Quel bel endroit ! La vue sur le Mont Blanc est innoubliable. L'appartement que nous avions pour nous et nos 2 jeunes adultes était parfait. Les chambres était confortables (beaucoup d'espace de rangement) et la cuisine très bien équipée. Nous y retournerions sans hésitation.

Great location. The owner was especially accomodating and helped with parking. Excellent value for the price and in the heart of Orange.

This hotel is a jewel. I was struck by the $400 security deposit required, but upon completion of our stay I understand why it's required. The views from balcons are outstanding. Cleanliness and furnishing are excellent. Location relative to downtown is fine. On check-out I was shorted 6 eros by the desk clerk when paying the town room tax of 12 eros upon checkout the morning of June 22nd. She made the correct change when i notified her of her error, but I wondered if the mistake was innocent.

Quite a nice apartment/hotel. Large and comfortable rooms with spacious balconies. Well located. Beautiful surroundings. Even though it's an apartment/hotel, being a four star property, it would have been nice to have complimentary shampoo.

Our two bedroom apartment was perfect for our group of 4 adults and a baby. Having a kitchen was very nice. In addition to being able to make coffee in the morning, we borrowed a fondue pot from the front desk (no charge), bought the fixin's at a local market and had our own fondue dinner. This saved us a small fortune compared to going to a restaurant downtown but was every bit as good as the meal I had the last time we were in Chamonix...and a lot more relaxed. The view of the mountains was spectacular (we spent a lot of time on the balcony) and the pool was nice. The only downside was having to make our own beds and clean the room before we left...but for the price it was worth it. I think it was because of this arrangement, though, that the w/c was not as clean as it could have been. The rest of the room was just fine, though, and very spacious.

Courteous and professional staff. Clean and spacious. All smiles and service despite our late arrival at 1 am. Staff kindly escorted us to the car park late at night and personally escorted us to our room whilst pointing out all facilities on the way. I could not recommend the place more highly. Very convenient to town.

Se bene sono stato una sola notte, ho visto che l'albergo e "EXCELLENT". Non posso dire niente di malo, semplicemente bennissimo.
