A very attractive hotel, centrally located with lovely small indoor swimming pool, whirlpool and sauna; good underground parking; spacious, well furnished lounges. We had a comfortable wood panelled room with outstanding bathroom. Parking charge was steep at 20 euros per night as was breakfast at 15 euros. Eat at La Caleche nearby - it's good value and good fun!

You need to indicate the garage address because you can not access the hotel by car because it is in pedestrian zone.

How to reach Grand Hotel des Alpes

By car
From Geneva: take the A 5 highway towards Chamonix.
From Switzerland: either fom Martigny or Col de Forclaz, follow the indications to Chamonix.
From Lyon: take the A 42 highway towards Chambéry/Genève.
From Turin: take the A 5 highway towards Aosta/Courmayeur. Take the Mont Blanc tunnel, and exit at the sign to Chamonix.
Once in Chamonix, take Rue Heilbronner, at the roundabout, turn right. You will find the hotel in Rue du Docteur Paccard, at no. 89.
