Hotel is well located in a lovely town, so we enjoyed our stay.

The room was very clean and comfortable. We were 3 adults and there was a separate room for the 3rd person so that helped with privacy. The staff were multilingual and very helpfull and friendly. It would have been more helpful if the directions to the place were more explicit. It took us some time to find the place. Parking was on the street and free. It might be difficult to find a place during the height of the tourist season. The view from the room of the nearby mountains was beautiful. The beds were very comfortable which helped since I have a bad back.

As a family we have used Venere many times and have been pleased up until now. We stayed at this hotel on the way up and stayed in a double bed room and a double with a twin bed room. On the way back we stayed in a room that slept 6 yet had been booked for two rooms. We have a family of five and when I put in for 5 with one room nothing came up that it was available yet on the way back as I stated we slept in a room that would sleep 6. I was very upset because we were all able to stay in the one room yet I had to pay for both and we could have possibly slept in the room that sleeps 6 on the way up also which would have saved our family money on the vacation. I am not sure if this is the responsibility of the hotel or of Venere but I am not satisified at all with how this experience turned out.

A once grand hotel very centrally placed about 10 minutes walk from the railway station. Rooms clean, but old decoration. No air conditioning, but comfortable. Easy to walk to restuarants for dinner and breakfast if you don't wish to use Hotel. 'Le sporting' near theatre provided a good value Savoy style dinner and breakfast outside in Place Saint Leger was a pleasure on a sunny morning.
