Best Hotel Chambery - Chambéry

Only 2** so did not expect much and hotel lived up to this. Very noisy at night with drinkers in street 'singing' and shouting. Room small, bathroom poor. Few facilities in hotel, but wonderful town facilities and shops.

Nice location, but booking had been lost and manageress was drunk and incapable. Other staff did their best.

very difficult to find by car

This was my first trip to Chambery. The Best Hotel was a great value, although room was small. It was certainly adequate and clean. The location was ideal.

Por este precio y como hotel de 2 estrellas, en españa tenemos casi un lujoso hotel, en francia es casi una pensión, no entiendo como llega a ser un hotel, solo tiene una televisión plana, pero la cama, la ducha, los muebles, todo era viejo y sucio. Ni hablar de la moqueta asquerosa del suelo.

Great value for money, but much clearer directions would have saved us an hour of driving around.

the room did not look at all like the picture advertizing the room, the street was very noisy, lots of scooters all night long, but staff was friendly and location was good for sites.

Good for the price though breakfast was beyond minimal for 9 Euros. Eat elsewhere.

Directions to property was not very clear. NO parking is available outside and therefore off loading your vehicle can be difficult. In relation to price and rooms though the facilities and location were excellent.
