Hotel Solemare - Milano Marittima, Cervia

Hotel Solemare is located very close to the beach, our room actually had sea view even though there is another hotel in front. The only disadvantage was that the rolling shutter was stuck at head height, so we had to duck to get on the balcony which was really not so bad. Unfortunately, although it was unusually hot for the season, the climate control didn't work.

I was there for 6 nights with my wife and 12 year old daughter. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff were very helpful and very friendly and hotel spotlessly clean. It is only a few yards from a wonderful sandy beach that offers all ammenities. We actually extended our stay by 2 nights. Cervia and Milano Maritime offer wonderful restaurants and the prices were very reasonable....we spent an average of Euros 70 per day for 3 persons on lunches and dinners in various restaurants. We will certainly stay at the Solemare again.....it was our first time on the adriatic coast and such was our experience there we will not be going back to our former holiday resort in Majorca. We believe that the Solemare must rate as one of the best deals available for a family holiday Mike Bell

This was an exceptional stay. My only comment would be that our view of the ocean was partially obstructed by a couple of hotels directly on the ocean, but we still had a gread view. The staff was very nice, and very helpful. The food was excellent. Being from Canada, we were not aware of what half-board meant, and were expecting breakfast included only. To our surprise, our price of 89E also included our choice of lunch or dinner, including wine. Excellent value for the money.
