The room was large which our baby enjoyed crawling around. Food was lovely ( baby really enjoyed eating my meal) and staff friendly. Location is wonderful with beautiful views. The only improvements on the stay would be for the tv and wifi to work in the room but we assumed it was because we were in the attic room. Apart from that minor detail we had a lovely stay and would definitely return.

Although the decoration was in need of an update and the bedrooms were quite cold (although fan heaters provided) The style and the layout of the rest of the hotel was very much like a nice country home. The staff did an excellent job and nothing was too much trouble i.e. alternative meal for vegetarian and providing decaffinated coffee late in the evening. We were attending a wedding and everything went very smoothly the sit down meal being excellent. The hostess was calm and capable and worked very long hours being up to provide a full english breakfast for those who stayed. There were a lot of small children in our group who were well provided for and there was no problem with them running around and playing. The gardens and views were lovely and overall I would recommend this hotel especially as a wedding venue.
