First Time at this hotel, one night only. Overall good impression of quality service. Staff efficient and reasonably friendly. Good parking place. Minor issue: lack of a leisure/relax centre (fitness room only; outdoor small pool only, not available in winter time). Major issue: poor breakfast with limited cold food variety and no warm food; only positive exception was the real orange juce, prepared and served right on the spot

Nice Hotel, modern and quiet. Kind and competent personnel. Very useful shuttle service to Cefalù centre and beach. Hotel surroundings quite spoiled by some modern ugly buildings. On the whole, a very pleasant stay. Recommended hotel.

Alberi del Paradiso is a lovely hotel. The location is a bit far up from the town, but the shuttle service works reasonably well - the only criticism is that it doesn't run quite late enough, and taxis back are expensive and a bit scarce! The breakfast spread was superb - the best I've ever seen in Italy. Would definitely stay again.

Nice hotel with a good medium-sized swimming pool. Great views of Cefalu from the hotel room balcony (front of hotel only) although the walk into the town centre is a little inconvenient. The hotel also has a small private beach (away from the town centre) and the shuttle bus to it is very efficient.

This was our first time in Cefalu and we choose the hotel having read the reviews and weren't disappointed. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, and whilst the evening meals were relatively expensive (we stopped BB) they couldn't be faulted. Cefalu town was pleasent and there were plently of restaurants in town to choose from as a alternative to eating 'in' at night.

A pleasant stay augmented by a pleasant staff. However, a trip to the front disk was necessary every afternoon to cool the room. The room was too warm and the thermostat was non-functioning. No ice in room or on floor. Otherwise, a wonderful choice. Ben LiPira

We booked a deluxe room expecting something a bit more special, but it was scarcely better than a Premier TravelInn room. The shower in the bathroom was the smallest ever encountered, and poor quality for a deluxe. Overall, I would say the hotel was not good value for money - room expensive, food and drink expensive, and a quite a way from the beach and town. There was a free bus service to both, but the last time was 7pm so if you wanted to have dinner in town, you needed to get a taxi back to the hotel (and the cost was a rip-off).

We paid €170 a night for a room with a tiny balcony, two old deckchairs & a shower so small that it was impossible to bath properly. There was about 20 cms between the w.c. & shower door to enter exit. This was a "DELUXE" room. Lower categories were Club & Superior. The room itself was tired and in need of a revamp. The restaurant was table d'hote (overpriced). A surcharge was imposed for ALC. We ate out every night after the first dinner. I asked the Duty Manager for a change of room, but it was about the same standard. The shower was the same size etc.

Reception was not that informative on arrival but this improved during our stay with a change of the staff at the desk. The room was very noisy being located over the kitchen area. Air conditioning was programmed not to operate during our stay. A kettle could have been provided in the room for coffees. Evening meals we thought we rather expensive. Breakfast however was the highest standard encountered on our stay in italy.

Good in general, but not easy to access ! Rooms a bit too small. Very good welcoming. A bit too expensive, compared to same level available in "Maison d'hôtes"

Mom and I thought this was one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The public areas were beautiful - lots of little places to sit, read or have a picnic, very peaceful. Pool great size and view but not heated. Restaurant food good but expensive - dress for dinner. Bar has sandwiches and reasonable drinks. Breakfast was great-never needed lunch. Shower small and beds hard. Room nice size and pretty furnishings. Location was convenient to motorway. Very steep/narrow street to hotel-be careful and go slow-it is a 2way street. People honk as they approach corner as warning. I would recommend the high end rooms if you want a good view and (hopefully) larger shower. The rooms on west side have great sea views - east 3rd/4th floor have good views of town and sea. Very nice - would stay there again definitely. Didn't use private beach - heard it was nice. Town is very pleasant. Lots of nice restaurants. Very walkable to town - taxi back (steep climb)7 Euros or so. Don't try to drive to old town. Parking hourly and only in new part of town. Downtown beach was amazing. If you rent a car-get a good one, small but with lots of power. Motorways are fast, speed limits ignored, and there are lots of hills in Sicily. This was our first time in Sicily - will go back.

Hotel is very good, service excellent, location very nice for quietness but not handy for city center. You have to walk a steep road down and up hill if you want to go out for dinner. Breakfast is abundant and dinner exquisite (rather expensive though, but altogether it's always worth the price). Two things to be improved. First, on web site you do not really understand from pictures that the beach is far from hotel. They bring you there with a free shuttle bus, but if you do not want to wait you have to walk the steep road for about 1 km. Second, you do not always find available place on the hotel beach. However, this is really small thing compared to the many positive ones.

Very clean and beautiful hotel. The rooms are modern. There is a shuttlebus every hour who brings you to the beach, but you can also walk( 15 minutes). We really enjoyed our stay in Gli Alberi del paradiso.

The hotel is very nice, but the swimmingpool is to small for the size of the hotel and the number of potential customers.

The Hotel Alberi Del Paraiso is very pleasant with spacious rooms, good breakfast and quite near the Cefalú centre (we went by car, though). The less positive points were that: i) if you’re taller than 1,85 m the bed is not long enough! ii) the air conditioner is so sophisticated that could not be switched off from our room (there was no “on/off” button) and it was very noisy; in the end we had it switched off from the reception. iii) the person working in the reception in the evening didn’t speak English at all, which shouldn’t happen in a 4 star hotel! iv) the surroundings of the hotel are not as nice as we could see in the photos of the site. We have stayed 10 nights in Sicily and the winner was clearly Hotel Gutkowski in Syracuse, where we spent 3 nights: lovely, charming, located in the historical centre, big room, good breakfast (only missing the ham!), internet for free (if you are lucky and there is no one in the chat), people in the reception speak English and are very friendly and helpful (good advices for Restaurants!); the only less positive point is that we could hear the traffic in our room, although as it almost stopped after 23:00, that was not really a big issue. Hotel La Pensione Svizzera in Taormina is also very nice, with a good and spacious room, very nice sea view, very clean and quiet – make sure you reserve the parking space for the car (10€) as you’ll need it! We had our room in the 4th floor (no lift), but we were informed about that in the moment of the reservation. In Marsala we have stayed in Villa Favorita and it was also a good option with excellent breakfast and a very spacious and clean bungalow! Hotel Villa Eos in Agrigento was our poorer choice, with extremely small room (but clean!) and very small WC, very poor sound proofing, as when anyone in other rooms opened a tap or shower it seemed that they were using your own WC (could also hear voices, doors opening the closing, steps…), poor breakfast, supposedl

This hotel is very pretty with great views. We walked twice daily to the old town and back with no problems, however if you have mobility issues i would suggest getting a taxi back as it is rather uphill. Because of it's location you do however get wonderful views from the glorious swimming pool. the breakfast is excellant and the rooms spotless, the bathroom is tiny but i don't go on holiday to spend time in the bathroom!! if driving to the hotel it is a sharp hidden right off the main road (opposite petrol station) but the hotel is signposted (as is hotel belvedere which is a few hundre metres below this)

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Kid friendly. A little too far from the beach to walk. It was up a big hill!
