Hotel Al Pescatore - Cefalù

Al Pescatore - in a nutshell all we needed as most of the time we where out of the hotel. Room very clean, Staff very polite and helped out throughout even though there was a language barrier. Wifi connection not always possible however did occasionally go down by reception and they suggested what to do and was successful. TV lost connectivity at times. Surrounding nothing special but just a 10 minute walk will lead you by the beach and the centre of Cefalu basically so nothing to complain about. Yes would recommend it to friends. Breakfast wasn't too bombastic, just right and after all the same family owed shop by the Hotel was just perfect cause one may buy any snak or heavier meals and good drinks at reasonable prices. Enjoy got to buzz off!

Hotel Al Pescatore staff were very helpful. On arrival we were asked if we wanted a room at the front or the back of the hotel. The front rooms faced the road, though quiet, with a very large balcony overlooking the sea. Since the hotel is located about 1km from Cefalu village, parking was available right in front of the hotel. The walk to the village was easy. Breakfast was plentiful, but all sweet items.

Good location for people who need a fast sight of Cefalu and a nice swimming from the near rocks,but the services are poor ,the breakfast close to zero,and the prices comparately at a peak

Good Hotel with amazing surroundings and fantastic view...and the walk to the town centre is enchanting!

Entgegen der abschreckenden Bilder hier auf dem Portal war das Hotel dann doch ganz schön. Die Eisdiele im Haus hat nicht gestört, der Frühstücksraum zwar recht bunt aber ok. Dafür war das Frühstück nicht besonders. Die Lage des Hotels ist zwar etwas außerhalb, Cefalu aber gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Räume waren ok. Ärgerlich war nur, das laut Buchung Kinder unter 4 kostenlos sein sollten, dann aber mit 20 Euro pro Nacht abgerechnet wurden. Sieht man darüber hinweg, war das Hotel insgesamt ganz in Ordnung.

I was train travelling and had difficulty finding a taxi so I dragged a 40 lb suitcase for 45 minutes to find the place. It has no restaurant so you have to walk or taxi to central part of town, a beautiful walk of about 20 minutes. Hotel is rural yet convenient if you are a walker. Town is beautiful. Next time I go I will have a car and stay there again.

Location is outside the town; explains the good price! Once you learn the one way streets, exploring the town is fun. Delightful area with an interesting central square with many restaurants. Our visit was in October.

We had a lovely time. Friendly, welcoming staff, good breakfasts, comfortable rooms. There is a bar & ice cream parlour next doore which was great for after beach & late night drinks & ice creams. On a busy-ish road but that added to the experience as the bar is clearly a local hub with lots of different people using it throughout the day. Lots of Italians staying there - a vg sign. Thanks to all for great holiday!

Hotel tres bien situé, accueil charmant. Sommes resté 3 nuit. Ville agréble. Propietaire chaleureux et trés coooperatif pour donnez des renseignements sur la région.

Excellent location, though it is about a half mile walk in to the town. Ideal spot if you've rented a car. Hotel also has a very reasonably priced snack bar, and the breakfast is good, as well.
