We chose this hotel for our first visit to Croatia. We were looking for a smaller, out of the way place, to relax and also to enjoy good food. The people who run Major were the friendliest, most welcoming and professionally efficient, we could have hoped to meet. It would be fair to say that THEY made our nine days in Croatia such a wonderful experience. The refined and elegantly prepared, and presented, menu offered by Major, was a significant factor in our choosing the hotel in the first instance, and we can now happily state that the top quality, and variety, on offer was such that it was restaurant of choice for just about all of our stay. Whilst the Hotel is positioned in the beautiful rural Konavle area, the hotel ensures that it is very easy to get into nearby Cavtat, so you should not worry at all that you may be cut off. From Cavtat you can access all of the Dubrovnik area easily. This unpretentious and charming Hotel offers food, accommodation, and hosting, well beyond any initial expectations, and we would be very pleased to encourage a stay here for a holiday in this beautiful country. Thank you everyone at Major!
