The hotel is easy to find and a very centrally located base for exploring Provence. There is ample free parking directly in front of the hotel, but the lot can get quite busy. This wasn't a problem as we would leave in the morning and not return until late afternoon, when the local downtown traffic subsided. Excellent value for the money. A good idea is to hike to the top of the hill located next to the hotel...a great way to get your bearings and a lay of the land. There is a small park adjacent to the hotel, which has a good area for toddlers. Downside of park is that some undesirable types tended to congregate there in the evenings, but we never felt unsafe. Skip the hotel breakfast and hit up a cafe or patisserie or mini-market.

Simply the great place to use in order to explore Provance. Personnel great!! Parking for just a few EUR, underground. Wi-fi free. You can use their garden to picnic, just buy local delicacies, come to the hotel, get some wine from the bar and enjoy, economic and delicious!! Super! Will be back, that's for sure. One minor min - no lift.

Consigliato

Initially worried about direction - 'travel to Office de Tourisme' - but that is because the hotel is next door!! Excellent location, and very nice internal courtyard for the afternoon Pastis. Car parking no issue, as free carpark out the front door. Quick walk to local resturants and bars - which we didn't find a bad one. Across the road for breakfast coffee and croissant. Cavaillon is an excellent central location for visiting west Provence historical sites and even towns - Avignon and Marseilles.

Cavaillon is the perfect central spot for visiting this area of Provence. Hotel du Parc is in the old section nestled beside a park & sheer cliff wall, restaurants & shops within walking distance - beautiful town. Hotel staff were wonderful & English spoken. We forgot our hairdryer & one was provided graciously for our entire stay. The courtyard, breakfast, bar area a lush garden setting & great place for a picnic with all the wine, boulangeries & gourmand shops at your doorstep. Day trips easy drive to Oppede-le-Vieux castle, Bonnieux, Lourmarin (2 star Michelin restaurant), Gordes, Roussillon, Apt. Provence - truly heaven on earth.

This hotel is situated right in the square opposite the TI office which makes it very convenient. It is close to cafes, restaurants, boulangeries , laundromats and shops. We stayed for 6 days and made it our base for visiting provence. The hotel has been decorated to reflect the charm of the early 20 century and so you feel you are stepping back in time. They have a lovely court yard. There is a secured parking garage on site but the square seems perfectly safe. The breakfast was ample and a good choice.

A lovely, quiet and traditionally French, hotel. We were made very welcome and the room was very large and comfortable. We had breakfast in the garden. Very close to centre of Cavallion. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. Would definately stay there again.

It is a small hotel. Many, many steps to the room because of no elevator. But the staff was very helpful & I enjoyed the stay.

The hotel was listed as 2*. I would give it 3 The place was charming for a small hotel. Many antiques, garden, fountain and charm. Owners were very accomodating and friendly, giving good service. No elevator, but air conditioning. I would return again if in the area.

We chose Cavaillon because it was central for Provance and the motorway system. Cavaillon itself is a small, undistinguished town that tourists appear to avoid. This for us was a plus. Finding the hotel was simple: just follow the signs to the tourist information office. The hotel is on the main square and parking was no problem and safe. Both the young owners spoke excellent English and were very welcoming. The public areas gave an aura of a slightly faded past which we have found to be typical of small French hotels. There is a large patio area between the two wings of the hotel that would be brilliant to sit out in during the warmer months. The bedroom decor was different to say the least with bright colours and hand painted motiefs on the walls. The bathroom was somewhat disappointing in comparison to German or Swiss modernity and could have done with a refurbishment. We also found the breakfast to be overpriced and somewhat bland and eventually we found an absolutely brilliant patisserie/cafe about 200m away just off the square. We found that Cavaillon grew on us during the five days that we spent there. Not as attractive as, for example St Remy, but at least it was real. Eating out was not a problem: there are a number of excellent restaurants within a five minute walk of the hotel that couldn't be faulted. We have had a number of bad experiences with hotels in France over the years. The Du Parc was not one of them. We thought it offered good value for money and the owners were honest, straightforward and tried hard. That in our view is important and goes a long way.

Not so bad. Hotel has a tiny but pretty cour. Nothing special in its surroundings, but it provides good access to every touristic site in Provence.

Unfortunately I could stay only two nights. Sunshine and 20 degrees in mid-November! C'est normale? Who could ask for anything more? This is the sort of place you would like to keep secret. It must be absolute Heaven in June/July. The staff were most helpful and obliging. The town is quite modern while still retaining its Provencal style. Must be down to good planning regulation. Try "Le Cours" or "La Ronde des Fromages", both on Cours Gambetta. Didn't have time to try the others. Next year perhaps.Enough! Go see for yourself.

We used Cavaillon as a base from which to explore Provence, and spent seven nights at this hotel. The Managers, Sandra and Philippe, were an absolute delight, and gave us much friendly and cheerful assistance. The courtyard breakfasts were very enjoyable, and we found the entire experience to be very satisfactory, especially as we wanted to get to know the local people as much as possible.

Warm welcome, authentic surroundings. Latecomer/key provision works perfectly well. I can fully recommend, except for the infirm who may have to climb stairs. A la prochaine!
