Very friendly run hotel-English speaking staff. Rooms were very good although lacked air conditioning and some early noise from road traffic took a few nights to get used to. Hotel-excellent location-3 minute walk to the beach. A very busy resort in August, very well kept beaches with excellent facilities. Very hot- 35 degrees C most days Resort fine for couples or families, few nightclubs.

The hotel and resort were very good. The hotel staff were excellent and very accommodating, they could not do enough for you. We were initially placed in quite a noisy room but were soon swapped following a complaint. The rooms lacked aircon, which made things a little uncomfortable at night. We were staying on a half board package, and the food was excellent, with plenty of choice. The dishes were traditional so may not be to the taste of youngsters, although pasta was available every evening. The resort itself is geared around Italian tourists, so although many do speak English, a phrase book is a must. The beaches are well organised,safe, and very clean, as are all of the restaurants. Drinks are expensive 2 euros for a coke and 4.5 euros a pint of local lager, (it's obviously cheaper in suprmarkets). All in all we had a very relaxing stay, in a very friendly, and laid back resort. We are seriously considering returning to Cattolica and the Principe in the future.

How to reach Hotel Principe

By car
From A14 highway, take the Cattolica exit. At the first roundabout, turn right following the signs for Cattolica. At the next two roundabouts, go straight on following Via S. Allende. At the third roundabout, go straight on following Via Ferrara and, at the intersection with Via Carducci, turn left and you will find the Principe hotel at number 125.
