Nice hotel, air conditioning not great in the rooms, left window shut as aircraft fly over hotel. Resteraunt menu limited but found a Chinese resteraunt 15 mins walk away, buffet dinner for 17 euro. Taxi to airport was a rip off at 20 Euro otheriwse no complaints.

This hotel is rather far from the airport, even if we can perfectly hear planes taking off! It cost us 20€ with the hotel's driver to go to the airport. Restaurant is not very expensive, but the quality seems not to be very good. The day after my husband and I were not in very good health ... After a very nice stay in Sicily, a stay in this hotel is not a very good way to finish holidays.

The hotel was adequate as far as closeness to the airport which was our major concern. One has to understand that Catania is not a tourist destination and the airport area is located in an industrial zone. The parking area is not guarded or monitored and did not feel safe at all. LOCK your hotel door! Like any large city there are safe areas and other areas where more caution is required. Use caution here and all should be fine.

Chose this hotel because of proximity of airport arriving very late. Staff was very kind, parking safe and free but neighbourhood seemed gowry, like abandonned aerea, all dark apart from service station+bar and snacks attached to hotel. Room not dirty but so old facshioned it looked not clean especially bathroom. Because proximity of beach must be good in summmer but also it means it becomes all run down with numerous clients. The next night we stayed in proximity (500 meters) in a same standard hotel 20% dearer but by far more enjoyable, cleaner and more happy feelings. A good refurbishment is needed in Miramare to make clients go back !!!
