I staid with my family in Catania only for one night, the hotel was quite comfortable (air conditioning was noisy) but the surroundings were really poor. I remember that I felt unsafe and I decided to go downtown by car though the distance was short and the hotel staff suggested us to go walking. When we arrived the hotel surroundings were really a bad surprise.

Good hotel. NO parking space. Our rental car was dammaged by parking in a narrow street. Neighbourhood is bad and dirty.

at present the neighbood is ok in the day but dreadful at night. I am an older woman and becasue of the neighbood I could not go out to eat after dark. It would be very helpful if the hotel had a few frozen meals or sandwiches available. The desk staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in marking out my route on a map (Catania being chaos otherwise). The roomd were more than average and very clean.

In spite of the look, the neighborhood was quiet and seemed safe at night. The hotel is in walking distance from the train station, which makes it a perfect location for a brief stay.

A magnificent and elegant hotel at a reasonable price. A tiny bit out of the way ... but that only means walking a short distance to the sights.

We were very happy with this hotel. The reception staff were extremely helpful and spoke English. The room was huge with good bathroom. Public areas were bright and clean. Best breakfast in all Sicily! Location was convenient - short walk from railway station (also bus station) - though streets between hotel and station are very run down with some derelict buildings. Would not wander around there late at night. In other direction, town centre is about 10 or 15 minutes' walk away. We took a taxi direct from airport, costing 25 euro in May 2007.

The hotel itself is very nice, spacious and clean, and the staff helpful. The area around the hotel is slightly dilapidated. There could be slightly more space between tables at breakfast. Overall a very good axperience.

the staff were brilliant. The people on the reception helped make our honeymoon what it was. Neither of us had done much research on sicily, but the staff their told us alot about their county and helped organise outings for us. The hotel was always spotless, and the breakfast always fresh and inviting. Am looking forward to seeing them all again some year soon. Many thanks, anthony

Es un hotel muy confortable, bien decorado, nuevo. Nuestro cuarto de baño muy bueno. Se echa en falta que haya más señalizaciones en la carretera de circunvalación.

The hotel is excellent for a visit to the city of Catania, at walking distance from the railway and bus station and from the city centre. We used the hotel as home base for excusions to ETNA and other places.

Very nice hotel, clean and modern. Hotel can be reached easily from the highway.Breakfast was excellent and much above italian hotel'standard. Only the neighborhood is not very representative. There is no hotel owned parking. Hotel staff is very professional and friendly.

Decent breakfast, nice public rooms, large bedrooms with tall ceilings. altogether pleasant and peaceful hotel to stay at, with helpful staff. Only negative point is that the hotel is a little isolated in a neighbourhood that appears to have gone down—but it only about 300 metres from the Corso Siciliana, and there are always taxis
