Extremely friendly, hotel is right in the heart of town. The only (very minor) downside is that, while being on top of a market is good fun, certain loud market sellers can grate sometimes. That said, we'd come back again and again.

I can't judge the hotel because my room was afected by an "idraulical problem" and I was sent to an another Hotel in catania (much more far from the city center). The funny thing is that when we reach the catania town hotel they look at me strange and said they sent me an e-mail that morning to tell me about the problem. Of course we had any reduction in price. Not very professional.

The hotel was very very good, clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was rich and tasty!! A great hotel I recommend if you wish to travel to Catania. Very close to via Etnea the central road of the city. Very satisfied!!

How to reach Catania Town Hotel

By car
From the airport: proceed northwards from Via Gioacchino Fernandez to Via Fortino Vecchio. Then turn left onto Via Fortino Vecchio and right into Via Plebiscito. After about 1 mile/1,5 km, turn left in Via Orto del Re, then turn right into Via San Vito and right again onto Piazza San Domenico Square. Turn left into Via Pietro Garofalo and immediately right into Via Cappuccini, then right again onto Piazza Stesicor Square. Go straight on Corso Sicilia Boulevard for about 0.3 miles/0.5 km, then make a U-turn to the other side of Corso Sicilia. Proceed straight on for about 0.2 miles/0.3 km, then turn right on Via Santa Maria di Betlemme, and after 30 yards/26 meters you will be at the Catania Town Hotel.
