We were the only guests in this small hotel. The proprietor met us and showed us to a large sunny room with a beautiful view of Mt Etna, overlooking the tiled roofs of Castiglione. We enjoyed wandering around the streets of the village taking photos. That evening the proprietor walked with us to a nearby restaurant, "Sine Tempore" where we had an excellent meal. In the morning we had a lovely breakfast and the proprietor talked with us about the local history and geography.

or exit Giardini Naxos, Francavilla di Sicilia exit, follow the SS 185 in the direction of Francavilla di Sicilia, turn left on the SP7 to Castiglione di Sicilia
