we went at peak time and the price was high compared to the other hotels we stayed in. lots and lots of steps. (99 from road to room) room was great with superb air con and fridge. bathroom large and well equipped. roadside parking - could be aome distance away. 20 minutes walk from town and restaurants.

Peraladda was a friendly hotel. All staff were effecient and helpful although our knowledge of italian was limited. Castelsardo was a very quiet town with a few resturants. To have your own means of transport would be beneficial here.

Great pool and view. Nice simple breakfasts. Area surrounding the hotel is a bit run down but looked like they were trying to improve this with building work happening down near the beach. Some nice trattorias in castelsardo that we tried from the guide books. Recommend going to La Pelosa beach at Stintino. About 1hr 10 mins drive. Rooms are pretty noisy though with the marble?? floors.

A professionally run hotel - all the staff were excellent. Food good (apart from fruit juice ??? at breakfast). Hotel would benefit from a nice cosy wine bar in the evenings - the younger element have their own entertainment laid on. The location is very convenient for walking into the old town of Castelsardo, and also for touring the north of Sardinia by car. Lovely views from the hotel and would certainly go back.

Very nice location with a great view and very near to Castelsardo, medieval city. We where several people travelling together and one of us had no chance with his room, without any view, and looking to a wall). But I recommend this hotel, the rooms are very nice, arranged with taste (ask one with sea view or with a terras on the other side). The surroundings are very nice.

A good hotel in a quiet part of the town. Good swimming pool, with a lovely view of the castle. We only had breakfast,but thought the standard was very good. Room was very large with good quiet air conditioning. As in most hotels you could hear people next door and on the corridor if they did not keep their voices down to a normal level. We only stayed for 1 night,as we were traveling around,but would return in the future. Good value for the price we paid.

How to reach Hotel Pedraladda

By car
From Porto Torres, follow signs to Platamona/Castelsardo. Drive along the S.S.200 coastal road, following the Castelsardo direction. Pass through Lu Bagnu, enter Castelsardo (Lungomare Anglona) and proceed straight on Castelsardo. Reach Piazza La Pianedda square and turn into via Cristoforo Colombo (the road that then becomes Lungomare Zirulia). After 600 meters, you will reach the hotel.

From Olbia, follow signs to Tempio S.S.127. Pass through Tempio, then turn right and proceed on the S.P.146 for Bortigiadas. Drive through Bortigiadas and follow signs to Santa Maria Coghinas on the S.P.146. Pass through Santa Maria Coghinas (SP33) and head to Castelsardo (SP33 and then SP13m). After about 9 km, turn right and head towards Castelsardo (SP90bis) for another 2 km, then turn right into the S.S.134, following the Castelsardo direction. Enter Castelsardo in via Sedini, then turn right into via Mameli. Turn right into via Cristoforo Colombo (which then becomes Lungomare Zirulia). After 600 meters, you will reach the hotel.

By airplane
From Alghero-Fertilia airport, proceed straight on towards Porto Torres on S.P.5m and then on S.P.34. Pass through the industrial zone of Porto Torres, and at the end of the road, turn right and head for Sassari. Turn left at the traffic lights and proceed straight on to Platamona/Castelsardo. At the end of the ring road, turn right into the coast road and head to Platamona/Castelsardo (S.S.200). Pass through Lu Bagnu (S.S.200). Enter Castelsardo (Lungomare Anglona) and proceed straight on through the town. In Piazza La Pianedda, turn left into via Cristoforo Colombo (the road that then becomes Lungomare Zirulia). After 600 meters, you will reach the hotel.
