How to reach Hotel Le Fontanelle

By car
From Florence: take the A1 motorway towards Rome and exit at Firenze Certosa. At the roundabout take the first exit and proceed towards Siena, Colle Val d'Elsa, Poggibonsi, Arezzo. Keep on driving in the direction of Perugia, Val di Chiana and exit at Casetta. Turn left and proceed along the provincial road 111 heading for Pianella. Once in Pianella, turn right onto the provincial road SP 408. Proceed for 5 km and at the km 14.700 you will see on your left a brown sign to Le Fontanelle Hotel, turn left and continue for 1.3 km. You will find the entrance to the Le Fontanelle Hotel on your right.

Alternatively take the A1 motorway towards Rome and proceed towards Valdarno. Exit at Valdarno and at the roundabout take the first exit. Continue along the provincial road SP111 following signs to Cavriglia and Gaiole in Chianti. Proceed for 1 km and once passed Montevarchi at the roundabout take the third exit. Continue along the SS408 provincial road for 24 km following signs to Gaiole in Chianti and Siena. After about 24km, at the km 14.700, you will see on your left a brown sign to Le Fontanelle Hotel, turn left and keep on driving for 1.3 km. You will find the entrance to the Le Fontanelle Hotel on your right.

From Rome: drive along the A1 motorway towards Florence. Exit at Val di Chiana, Bettolle Sinalunga. Follow signs to Poiana della Chiana, Perugia and Siena and keep on driving for 145 km on the SS327. Turn right in the direction of the Siena-Bettole intersection following signs to Siena and continue along the SS73 for 40 km. At the roundabout follow signs to Monteaperti and Pianella.
