A very good hotell which can espesially be recommended for mature couples travelling on their own. Very polite and gentle staff

stayed one night on way back to airport. our rooms were in upper building with lovely views of harbour from balconies. However the sign at front door should be more prominent telling us to register before driving up to car park! [We didnt notice the sign and ended up hauling our luggage down and then up again to our rooms.] The staff were accomodating about an early breakfast. We thought Castellamare was charming, had a beautiful meal at nearby restaurant [fish couscous]and enjoyed watching sicilian life flow by wedding parties, cars in giro and the odd power cut [day after big storms].

Sehr sauberes, modern gestaltetes Hotel. Die Damen am Empfang waren stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wegen des starken Windes gab es nachts heulende Geräusche im Zimmer. Tipp: Man muss ein Handtuch einrollen und vor die Türe legen... Frühstück sehr gut, Lage ideal. Empfehlenswert.

Hotel indications and location reasonably correct to find it. Considering quality and price offered is a recommendable proposal when travelling around Sicily. Fantastic location, to stay in the Sicily northern coast. A pretty fishing village. Good restaurants at the village port. Breakfast service quite reasonable for European standards.

The staff were great and very helpful with everything.We chose a transfer from the airport and hired a car from the hotel next day, which worked out really well. The hotel car park is a bonus as it can be difficult to park in the resort. There are several nice restaurants and bars close to the hotel which are reasonably priced. The staff in Marlins bar were very welcolming. Went to 'Erice' (30 minute drive) and Zingaro reserve (15 minutes) and Capo san Vito beach(30 minutes) all well worth visiting.

New hotel so everything is pristine and very clean. The hotel staff are very helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. They even went to the extent of phoning round boat hire companies to get me the best deal and organizing laundry collection and delivery from a local company at very reasonable prices. Not bad for a three star hotel. The rooms can be a little noisy as people return from a night out down at the harbour (the hotel has marble floors), but its minor and short lived and did not detract from our stay. Hotel is very well placed for Castellammare. Its a very short stroll to the harbour (and nightlife) but far enough away not to get any direct noise from the clubs and bars. Breakfasts were basic but enjoyable with a decent selection of cold food. Only thing the hotel is missing is a swimming pool. We stayed for two weeks with a hire car and loved every minute of it. Word of warning though - if your looking for a action packed lively holiday, Castellammare may be too laid back for you. It does come alive on Friday and Saturday nights but thats about it (except August when its packed). A gay couple of 14 years, we were a bit apprehensive about going to Sicily after hearing some adverse remarks about how welcoming Sicily was to gay people. We had nothing to worry about, we were made to feel welcome everywhere we went and the hotel turned out to be gay friendly. There were a few gay guests in the hotel, but very much in the minority. We went for the culture and scenery (spectacular) and was not disappointed. If you gent the chance, take in Erice (you will need a full day) and also try the mountain road from Alcamo to Monreale - hair-raising but breathtakingly beautiful. One last point - driving is a nightmare for the first couple of days - trick is just to make sure its totally obvious to everyone what you are going to do - use your indicators as much as you can and the horn as much as you like! And you need to be a little pushy.

Il nostro soggiorno al Cerri Hotel è stato meraviglioso; la grande competenza delle ragazze presenti alla reception, l'ottima colazione servita la mattina, la bella visuale che si poteva godere dalle camere vista mare,la tranquillità del posto hanno contribuito alla bellezza della nostra vacanza. Sicuramente ritorneremo a soggiornarvi.

We stayed only 1 night but it's an excellent hotel to stay longer. Great location, near the port with restaurants and night life. Don't worry about noise, because the surroundings of the hotel are very quite. Excellent price in Venere! Worth it! Venere didn't mention but the price includes the breakfast, which is quite good! Nice and helpful staff. Nice small town and nice small beach with beautiful water. 45 minutes from Palermo airport. Nice area of Sicily!

This was our first time staying at this hotel. The hotel (recently built) is smack in the middle of a quite fishing village during the day and an excellent night life hot spot during the evening. The Hotel’s private parking proved to be priceless when locals form the surrounding areas descended for a good night out. Surrounded by mountains with the sea right in front of you (and dotted with excellent eating places) the view from our room was breathtaking. The staff go out of their way to make your stay an unforgettable one. Top marks all the way!!
