The only comment we have is the breakfsst which had a limited choice. We stayed in other hotels in Sicily which much better breakfast. Reception ladies very kind, but didn't speak good english.

Ypsigro Palace was hard to find initially (we couldn't find any street signs coming into Castelbuono on the highway), however once we found it (it was actually on the road through town) it was wonderfully located very close to the castle and mideival streets. The hotel is relatively new - which means it lacks a lot of the personality we've come to love in the other places we've stayed - but was comfortable and well located.

Nice hotel, in a really beautiful location just to close to a lovely medieval village with an interesting castle. Quite close to Cefalù, great place when you can spend good time on the beach and sea or visit the city. The hotel, at this time, is almost brand new. Strategic location to visit both sea places and naturalist and historical zone.

First time at hotel. Warm welcome even at our late arrival. Good check in/out times. Quiet at night. Good airconditioning. Excellent views from terrace. Breakfast & relevant service a bit disappointing. Hotel well located for our round road trip.

We stayed one night and ,unfortunately ,the restaurant was closed so we ended up in a take-a-way pizza place,as little else was open! We would have appreciated knowing this beforehand. Otherwise this is a lovely hotel and Castelbuono was v. interesting. It was a beautiful and spectacular drive up from the coast.

From Palermo Falcone-Borsellino Airport(PMO): Exit the airport and turn right with the airport on your right hand side. At the crossroads take the second exit, following the directions for the A29 motorway. Take the E90 and then join onto the A20 towards Messina. Exit at Pollina Castelbuono. Continue on the SS286 road for about miles/13 km until you reach Castelbuono. Once you are in Castelbuono, follow the signs for the Ypsigro Palace Hotel.
