This is convenient as an airport stopover and the hotel has a good restaurant but it is on a busy road and the rooms are very noisy.

Well, we came there, went to sleep and woke up. Not much. The room we got (2) was excellent - private stairway to the parking lot, but that's only one room so I guess we were lucky. The room was also very large and good. The woman at the reception was quite bad with English, which is ok for Italy but in my opinion not ok for a hotel so close to the airport. Eating there late (22:00) was impossible. The only place to eat was a buffet at the neighboring hotel which was horrible, and expensive. Better eat at the airport, gonna be better quality at the same price. The breakfast was quite good and surprising.

We only stayed 1 night at this hotel as we had a friend leaving from Malpensa airport early the next morning. We chose the hotel for price and the fact that they offered a free airport shuttle. We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of service offered. After a trying day that ended with our rental car overheating several times on our way to Milan we finally made it close enough to the hotel that they offered to have their shuttle driver come and pick us up and take us to the hotel at around midnight. We were exhausted and they were very helpful in getting us situated. We were up early the next morning to take their shuttle to the airport but did have time to have a nice breakfast provided at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and the room was spacious and clean. I am not sure what the town is like or if we would stay there on an extended stay but if you are looking for something close to Milan airport this is a great choice.

We booked this hotel for a one night layover between the end of a cruise and our next day flight home. From past reviews the restaurant was highly recommended and we were not disappointed! The very best Pizza we ever had. Locals also ate there and ordered more exotic dishes but after 10 days of cruise food we wanted something lighter. I would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant for a one night stay. Conveniently located near MXP, FREE shuttle, and the price vs. value can't be beat.

Convenient to Malpensa, and fine (for the price) for an overnight stop; its shuttle bus to and from the airport was a very useful facility.

The rooms we booked for one night only were OK, small and very clean. The capuccino in the morning very refreshing and the lady in the breakfast room very amiable.

We stayed here one night before departing on an early flight from Milan and chose it because of it's free shuttle to the airport. The owner and staff were just wonderful, very welcoming and made all the arrangements very simple. The restaurant in the hotel was terrific, actually some of the best food of our trip with a vegetable antipasti bar and great selection of dishes, delectable dessert cart, all homemade. Lots of locals filled the place Friday night. The room was large and bathroom was, too. Good shower! The town looked very charming though we didn't have time to walk around. Only problem was there was a lot of noise in the room, we decided there must have been some water pipes or something as it didn't seem to be other guests.

Cute little town. Train track in front of hotel but info not helpful to ride that commuter rail. Transport to airport was no charge on arrival and departure, but charged a taxi fee on other trips to get the metro at the airport. Our early breakfast was so-so. They weren't prepared for it--but we had a nice choice of last night's desserts.

We arrived very late and had to communicate by cell phone to get directions. The front door was locked when we arrived, but the manager unlocked it for us.

Close to airport and shuttle from hotel provided fantastic!! Very friendly and helpful staff! Otherwise just a standard hotel. Don't get a room facing the road - very very noisy, did not sleep much. Behind the road is a train line as well... Single beds are a bit small. Hotel was labeled as B&B. All I got for breakfast was a cappucino and a croissant. Therefore I thought the night for $90 EURO was far too expensive and next time I will stay somewhere else.

The hotel is a great place to stay in if you are flying from the Malpensa airport...(if you have a layover or an early flight) it's just minutes away and they have a free shuttle service.

Good qualities : close to airport.. very good restaurant attached...competant staff poor qualities: in a very small town -was hard to find. Main desk was not always staffed, no phone in room (that was first in any hotel I have ever stayed) most negative quality; late at night, children waiting for parents in restaurant were allowed to run up and down hall way and play very loudly with no staff of restaurant or hotel to monitor and keep a lid on things. (over priced)

If you do stay here request a room that is not on the street. My room for a single was next to the stop light in front of the hotel and heard traffic all night long, although the owner assured me that it would die down. The hotel sits on a corner with no grounds and on a thorough fare that is very busy. About 15-20 minutes from the airport. The owner was very accomodating for I had my dog with me and couldn't eat in the resturant, so had my dinner brought to me on an inside balcony. The airport shuttle runs only every hour, though there is pick-up when you get in. THe resturant downstairs I heard is very good and was very busy adding to the noise level. THe early morning staff does not speak English, though the afternoon young people staffing the desk do.

Staff was very acommodating. Pick up at airport was prompt. Very early drop off at airport was acommodated. Entire staff was very friendly and restaurant was excellent. However, there is nothing else in area of hotel. Arrived at 4Pm starving and had to wait until restaurant opened at 7PM. Perfect for what we needed it to be: a good, clean hotel near Malpensa Airport.

Owner/manager greeted us when we arrived via his airport shuttle. He invited us to eat in the adjoining restaurant, which was excellent and made arrangements to get us the the airport the next morning. Internet service available. Would recommend as a stopover on the way to the airport

Hotel Sempione was very good for staying close to Malpensa airport with the free shuttle, but could be difficult to find by auto without a very good map. The rooms are very simple, clean & some very small. The management very helpful. The restaurant was excellent. After 1 month in Italy, I felt the price was too high.

The hotel staff were busy, so the service was patchy, but they were cheerful and friendly. The room, and the hotel itself was very pleasant, and in an attractive village (which had a lovely festival). I would go there again. It is also convenient to the airport.

During evenings there was always good service in English - but not in the mornings. So it should be recommended to make the check-out in the evening before. The hotel restaurant offers big variety and excellent quality of food.

Just make sure your room isn't on the top floor where the peaked roof takes up half of your room and you have to duck your head to get out of bed. The on site restaurant had excellent food and selection. Don't order the house wine.

I chose this hotel because of its location near the airport. We arrived via bus from the train station. The 5 Euro price for the bus was well worth the long drive through typically heavy traffic. The shuttle to the hotel arrived within 10 minutes of our call - an excellent response. Even though the driver did not speak English, he was very polite and accomodating and we somehow communicated. The room was exceptionally clean. The room was air-conditioned which was not usual for European bed and breakfast hotels. The restaurant in the hotel was closed when we arrived at 7 p.m., but we were able to walk to another hotel owned by the same people and had a relaxing meal. The price for the room - 128 Euros was pretty steep, but still a lot less than the larger chain hotels in the area. The free shuttle from the airport and an early ride back in the morning made the price more appealing. There was also internet access available although the computer in the lobby was not working, so we had to rely on our own laptop. The breakfast was limited to coffee, juice, and a small crescent roll. I would stay here again because of the convenience, authentic setting and hospitality. It was a nice European B & B. If you are expecting a luxury hotel, this is not the place, but if you want the charm of a quiet B & B in a small Italian village, this is a great place. The people were friendly and eager to meet our needs.

Although it was just 1 night, the hotel is nice, the restaurant is great and the free shuttle service to malpensa airport (10' away from hotel) it is very convenient. Despite I found it bit overpriced (103€ double room) it seems to be in the range of the surrodings locations. Overall, I'd repeat visit.

The only reason to stay here is that it is close to the Malpensa Airport, and the shuttle service offered is free and good. The restaurant was closed for the day when we were there, and there's not much in the "community". We did eat at the neighboring hotel down the street. The property is just a "stay before the flight" kind of place, and it succeeds there.

We arrived to this hotel the night before our flight. The driver who camed to pick us left the airport and then, without a word, returned there, took other people, and then made a LONG way to take them to their hotel. The way to the hotel took an HOUR instead of 5 minutes! We were annoyed, tired, and waited an important phone call. But what would have happenned if we had this delay on the way to the airport? I prefer not to think of it! Luckily, on the next morning, the drive did take 5 minutes. But why take the chance? However, I can't tell if the situation would be better in other hotels, since it was a problem with a shuttle service working with several hotels. Other than the shuttle, we didn't have much time to care for other things. The room and shower were very comfortable, but there was no lift, like in many other Italian hotels. Breakfast consisted of a croissant and coffee.

The proprietor was very helpful (especially in pick up from airport) and friendly. It appeared that the only meals available in the area were in the hotel. Located on a busy street, you would not want to venture out on a walk. Free "breakfast" is a cup of coffee and cheap cruisant.

This facility was like a dorm room. It was very overpriced at 100 euros. The beds were made for a child rather than an adult. My feet hung off the end of the bed. The room was clean and the bathroom a nice size, except the shower stall was quite small. The facility was not staffed past 23:00 and the restaurant was not opened upon our arrival at 18:00. The best feature was the shuttle service to and from the airport. I would have been terribly disappointed if we stayed longer than one night.

Very difficult to find. Finally had the cab driver use his mobile to call and get directions. Hotel sign is actually in a different name to confuse matters.Warm welcome when we arrived. Very clean, small room. Quiet. Breakfast a bit disappointing after all the wonderful breakfasts we had been served throughtoutItaly.Rather expensive compared to other accomadation but location by the airport means a premium price. Shuttle to the airport a big asset.

The Sempione Hotel and Restaurant was an excellent find. Convenient to the Milan Airport. Their transportation to and from the airport service was wonderful to find as my daughter and I were traveling without auto in Europe. The service at Hotel and Restaurant was marvelous. I hope we can recommend it to other friends traveling in that area.

Excellent car service - we were picked up at the airport to g to the hotel and then promptly returned the next morning at the exact time requested. Restaurant on premises was wonderful - excellent and we would go there for the food alone! The whole experience was very positive and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay near Malpensa Airport.
