The front desk staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Need to improve directions on web...for some reason we circled around for sometime before finding hotel although its quite close to the highway. You can easily drive right by the hotel without knowing you are there.

It is a hotel geared for business folks. Since I am a business person, it worked for me. The entire hotel is very nice.

employees speak very poor English. They had no specific city maps to direct us. The safe in the room was broken, they could not fix it and that was the end of that. When people in the other 3 floors use the bathroom it sounded in our room as though it was raining inside. Food was mediocre and expensive.

An excellent hotel, extremely good value for services provided. Located very close to autostradas A1 and A3 - ideally situated for stopover en route from Rome to Calabria. Maps provided not very clear for first time visitors as this is an area where two major routes converge and can be confusing. Our very late arrival (notified beforehand) was not a problem to the hotel. Superb room, newly decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast also wonderful - tremendous selection and variety. We will definately return and recommend to our friends and family who will be making the same journey many times in the future.

I really appreciated my stay at the Vanvitelli and I recommend it to all travellers. We aware though that this hotel is in a commercial/industrial area and is 4km away from dwontown Caserta.

Beautiful rooms and very clean and spacious. Linens were excellent. I think this must be a hotel that caters to the business people, tho, so I could not get a non-smoking room and the room smelled heavily of tobacco. This is because the drapes and other fabrics are so lush and heavy, the smell clings to them. It was a beautiful junior suite that we had and I was very empressed with everything.

We were in an area of the hotel that had been built recently and really wasn't finished. The lobby was still under construction as well as the court yard. I am sure it will be very nice once it is complete. The food in the dining room was below averyage.

This is an excellent hotel, the only downfall was the location, as the front of the hotel looks over the A1 motorway, other then that everything about this hotel is 1st class, great food, friendly staff, & a wonderful swimming pool with its own fountain. Would defiantly stay here again.

excellent place to stay at; a pity you did not mention the right address as the hotel is NOT at Caserta, had trouble finding it with my GPS. Sad they cannot make scrambled eggs properly for breakfast.

The Hotel is in the middle of renovation, in an area of Caserta that is mediocre at best. When we arrived, there was a wedding party in the foyer. The staff seemed overwhelmed by the activities and were indifferent and/or too busy to get us checked in. As our room was not yet ready, we were told to sit and wait, but were soon told by another employee that we had to move and offered no direction as to where we can go that was not 'off limits.' Two employees gave us differing instructions as to where to find our room. The Hotel did not offer to retrieve our luggage. The room was comfortable, but the sofa lacked support on the bottom; as a result, you nearly land on the floor when you sit down. There was no coffee or hot pot in the room, which is sad considering that there was a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and would make for a lovely place to have tea. If there was room service available, then it's a secret, because there is no menu or instuction. Worse of all, the elevator/lift was malfunctioning. We had to walk a few flights of stairs to get to our room. This was extremely aggravating when transporting luggage to and from the room. Not once were we offered an opportunity to get another room in an area where the elevators were operating. The air conditioning in the room was noisy and lacked punch. The worst thing about our stay there (we left a day earlier) was the indifference and inattentiveness we felt throughout our stay. From the desk to the breakfast buffet, we had the feeling that we were putting them out. The only person who seemed to have customer service values was the bartender, who offered suggestions on restaurants in the area. All in all, I was EXTREMELY disappointed in the experience.
