This hotel/lodge is located in the heart of the megalithic alignments and is far enough out of town to make for a quiet and spiritual visit to the area. The lodge is run by a very knowledgable and friendly staff that were extremely helpful in locating the varied sites. I wiuld definately reccomend the Carnac Lodge and Hotel to anyone traveling to this location.

First night stay during our tour of France and no complaints. The staff were extremely helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. Plouharnel and Carnac are both a short drive away.

This is a gem of a place to stay at, although it was a little hard to find. Male couple hosts and other staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't have time for breakfast, but we were able to have some very good coffee in our rooms just while we were getting ready to leave. We had dinner at a local seafood restaurant recommended by the hosts, where the maitre d' spoke english. Our cheap dinner was OK but I think the fish I ordered was frozen. It would be worth paying for one of the more expensive dishes if you have the chance, because of the flair with which it's presented, and the freshness of the seafood (swimming in the aquarium at the entrance.

This hotel was quite a surprise: though rather unimpressive from the outside, it is very tastefully decorated and the rooms are nice with a touch of design especially in the bathrooms. The staff provide one of the warmest welcomes we have ever seen. Free swimming pool and sauna, and watch out for the exotic breakfast ... a real treat!!

No bar facilities available after 9.00pm and with no mini bar in room unable to socialise after a night out.Room a bit on the small side with not enough wardrobe/draws for clothes,only 3 coat hangers provided,after request ended up with 6. Staff not available after 9.00pm which is a bit too early for our liking. Breakfasts were excellant with series of home made jams and various breads and natural yoghurt.Taxi into Carnac was 20 euros so beware. Excellant Chinese buffet after motorway roundabout into Aura, restaurant over road from hotel not recommended.

Go straight to PLOUHARNEL, At the roundabout, 4th exit direction CARNAC, 800 meters drive and you will see a sign "STOP ANDOUILLE", take on the right, the lodge is 40 meters on the left side of the street.
