From Cagliari, proceed on the S.S.130 road, following the direction to Iglesias. Exit at the 44 km and follow signs to Villa Massargia-Carbonia until the crossroads to Carbonia-Sirai and then to Portovesme-Portoscuro.

By airplane
A shuttle service links Cagliari Elmas Airport to the Cagliari city centre. Then reach the harbour of Portovesme to embark to Carloforte.
