Please note that this 4-storey hotel does not have a lift, making it less suitable for disabled guests.

The Cafe Jazz boasts an excellent menu and has live jazz and blues Monday to Friday from 9 p.m. onwards. There are also two function rooms, the Stuarts Lounge and the Grosvenor Suite, which are perfect for holding a special occasion or corporate event.

How to reach Sandringham Hotel

By car
From the M4 Motorway travelling east: exit the M4 Motorway at Junction 32. Follow signs for Cardiff A470 & City Centre. The route leads into Manor Way, and then North Road (be careful here, as there are no fewer than 5 speed cameras between Junction 32 and Cardiff Castle). After passing the castle, turn left into Westgate Street, with the Angel Hotel on the corner. There are pay-to-park car parks located on this street. St Mary Street, where the hotel is located, is adjacent to Westgate Steet. The hotel is two doors down from Howell's Department Store. Please note that St Mary Street is now pedestrianised.

From the M4 Motorway travelling west: exit the M4 Motorway at Junction 29. Follow signs for Cardiff (east and south)/A48(M4), and continue straight on for approx. 7 miles (11.2 km). Exit left at the sign for the city centre/(M4) A470. At the roundabout after the slip road exit, take the second exit left, following signs for the city centre. Continue straight onto the roundabout, and then merge with the traffic from North Road from your right (be careful, there is a speed camera almost immediately after merging with the traffic coming from North Road and three more before you reach the hotel). Continue straight along North Road, until you reach the castle on your right. After passing the castle, turn left into Westgate Street, with the Angel Hotel on the corner.
