Hotel Ascot Lodging - Cardano al Campo

Information about the shuttle and food service was confusing. We thought the shuttle service ran all day from 04:00 to 23:59. It only runs from 04:00 to 10:00 and from 18:00 to 22:00. The shuttle runs every hour from 04:00 to 06:00, not every half hour, which meat we had to take the 04:00 shuttle to make our plane. The food service was only available from 19:00. We had to take a taxi from the airport to the hotel. The staff did not volunteer information, only provided what was asked for.

Convenient location close to Malpensa airport. The hotel offers a free shuttlebus. The noise from the autostrada can be disturbing. Friendly staff. Stay away from the food at the hotel! I never thought I'd have anything as bad as this in Italy. The breakfast not much better, cold coffee...(at 6 a.m.).

Very good hotel if you have late arrival or early departure from Milan Malpenza. Nice welcoming staff, rediculous big room, bed and bathroom. not very noisy, pleasant atmosphere. Good restaurant on ten minutes walk.

Close to Malpensa airport...friendly clean hotel

We needed a quick stop before an early morning flight, this fit perfectly. Shuttle service was quick and easy, desk personnel efficient. Short but pleasant stay.

The website was a bit misleading in terms of what is available in each room. The website advertised air conditioning. The assumption made is there will be a machine in the room that makes the air cold. In fact, this was inaccurate; the machine merely removed the humidity from the air, which did not cool it. We slept with the balcony door open, so we were happy we were on a higher floor.

We had difficulty arranging the shuttle from the airport. The reason we chose the hotel was to use the shttle service. We called at 10 minutes to 6 pm and instead of sending the shuttle at 6 pm, we were told to call back but did not understand that. we were not able to call back because of our confusion about the phone number and inability to use the pay phone in the airport; so, no shuttle was ever sent and we stood at the airport gate waiting for 50 minutes not understanding that a shuttle was NEVER coming. We finally had to pay for a ride to the hotel. There were NO restaurants or shops near by which was O.K. but we had no choice of restaurants since we were dependent on a ride from the hotel to a restaurant.

Rooms spacious and of average quolity. Extremely polite and helpful staff. Breakfast o.k. Free transportation was offered by/to one particular restaurant some distance away. The restaurant was excellent, but it was the only option for dinner. There was no dining at the hotel or within walking distance.

We arrived late and they arranged to pick up my husband at the airport after he returned the rental car even though it was after 21:00. Then arranged a free shuttle to and from nice restaurant for a late dinner. Large room and bathroom with blackout curtains. Free internet was a plus before flying home.

The staff was eager to please, and cheerfully accommodated our every request. The hotel property is very nice, with clean, fully equipped rooms. It is located in a nice, quiet residential neighborhood, in excellent proximity to the (Malpensa) airport. No services are within walking distance.
