Although a bit difficult to find the hotel is very good. We had a triple which was spacious and clean. The airport shuttle was very good providing a service to the train station inside the terminal as well, the driver was very accomodating.

We stayed at this hotel for one night before our flight home from Malpensa. This hotel defines the word excellent... it is what all Italian hotels should strive for. It was excellent in all aspects ...the rooms are large and spotless, the a/c in the room was turned up prior to our arrival, as it was a hot August day, breakfast was very good, free shuttle to airport, friendly and helpful staff, etc. The hotel management clearly aims to please and they did, it was by far the best of the 6 hotels we stayed at on this trip. The town of Cardano also looks pretty interesting, although it was mostly closed for August. It is a short 5 minute walk from the hotel, so there are some things to do while you are there... pizza, restaurants, gelato, nice Piazza, etc...

Profesional staff, Clean and breakfast was excellent beds were hard but that is a common thing in europe. I will recommend this hotel convenient bus to airport and they even have a restaurant partner that can pick you up from and to hotel.

The shuttle service to and from Malpensa was reliable. We were offered a cappucino and croissant even though it was earlier than the scheduled start time of breakfast. Che molto gentile!

Our stay was great from start to finish! Free transfer from airport, swimming pool, wi-fi, breakfast, free transport to great restaurant and very friendly, knowledgeable front desk. Only point for improvement is the air-conditioning; needs to be stronger, but this is typical in Europe. If staying over in Milan, stay here!

Very nice and clean hotel. Room was quiet, comfortable and for the money, a very good value. We had a difficult time finding the hotel, as the directions were somewhat confusing. Staff recommended a pizzeria down the street, and it was outstanding. Very close to the airport.

The hotel appeared very nice online and did not disappoint. I was able to find a restaurant within minutes of the restaurant with my GPS. The clerk helped another couple get to the restaurant at a late hour so they could eat.

We stayed one night with 4 persons. We had 2 connection rooms which are very clean. We enjoyed breakfast. Also we could park our car without any problems. If I would be back to Florence, I perfer to stay at this hotel.

For 95 euros this was a bargain. Room was large, 100% clean and evrything worked. Staff welcoming and did all they needed to - arranging taxi, preparing bill, etc. Ideal for a late arrival at Malpensa airport.

For an airport hotel, you can't do better. The price was quite reasonable, the room spacious and well equipped. Everything was clean and the bathroom was nice. Previous reviews noted no nearby restaurant. There is one within a ten minute walk (about 1/2 mile) so you don't have to be limited to the one the hotel gets a car for. Also, one of the best breakfasts we had in Europe.

If you want to stay by Malpensa, this is a great choice. Not all that attractive on the outside, but it's been redone inside and the rates are great.

We stayed one night before flying out of Malpensa. The hotel was pleasant; I was happy to be able to use the computer in the lobby for free, and the breakfast was very good. There isn't much around given its location in the tiny satellite town adjacent to the airport. For its purpose this isn't important. We had only one problem: we arrived at Malpensa on the bus from Milan mid-afternoon and were expecting to be able to summon the promised free-shuttle to the hotel, only to learn it's not available except in the morning and late afternoon. We understand the logic of this but were disappointed to have to pay $30 for a cab after having factored in the free shuttle when researching a deciding on Hotel Cardano. If you're planning on staying here be sure you know when the shuttle is available.

The hotel was exactly as described. The staff emailed me immediately with answers to my questions and accurate information. It was a very nice place to spend my last night in Italy.

Very reasonable place to spend your night before an early flight out of Milan Malpensa (MXP). Only downside I would say was that finding food locally (walking distance) was a challenge, but the hotel hooked us up with a restaurant a few minutes' drive away that came to pick us up in their 'shuttle' (a nice late-model BMW :-). Restaurant unfortunately was fairly expensive and service super slow (esp. since we were trying to have an early night for our 4AM wake up).

The hotel was fine for our purpose which was to get to Malpensa the following morning for an early flight. There was no dining facility (or anything else) within walking distance but they had arrangements with some restaurants to pick us up and return us. That worked out nicely. The driving instructions to the facility could be improved. There are 2 Cardano al Campo exits from the Superstrada. The first says Cardano al Campo Sud so unless you know that there is a second exit coming up (CaC-Ferno) you may take the Sud exit (which we did and got hopelessly lost) To avoid any confusion, I suggest the driving instructions make specific mention to NOT get off at the Sud exit.

I spent just 1 night connecting to the next flight via MXP. The airport shuttle is not if you arrive late (I arrived around midnight), but it is available early in the morning (I checked out 5 a.m.).

Hotel was selected for the proximity to the airport and would say it's really great for that basis. I was able to drive in and check in very seemlessly; and the breakfast was decent. It's unfortunate they put breakfast in a downstair's 'mess hall' setting when the hotel building has a very unique curly-cue shape and nice grounds that would have been a better view. The hotel is what it is - a good, refreshing stop on the way to grander places.

As most of these reviews have said, it was a great place for the night before a flight from MXP. The shuttle to/from the airport was fine (we tried to take a taxi from the airport but they didn't want such a small fare so we had to call the shuttle), a ride to a very fun and good restaurant was arranged for dinner, our room was spotless and seemed brand new with some nice features (like music systems built in by the bed, light switches reachable from bed, extra hooks in the bathroom, etc), and breakfast was quite nice. However, it was dark and residential looking around the hotel at night and we didn't see anyplace to walk to at night. My husband found a nice place for a jog in the morning. We would stay here again when we need a place by the airport. The hotel was close to airport. Shuttle provided was on time. Breakfast generous. They had a nice area for swiming and sitting outside which I walked through the night I stayed. I was only there for the night and left Italy the following morning. I can say the people working the lobby were very professional. The shuttle driver very nice!!

We had a very early flight out of Malpensa the next morning. The hotel was very conveniently located, just a few minutes away. They picked us up and provided shuttle service to the airport at 5 am, as promised. No restaurant in the hotel itself, but they arranged for a driver from a nearby restaurant. Not the best meal we had in Italy, but adequate.

Very convenient to Malpensa airport. The staff was helpful and arranged a ride to a good restaurant. Our only disappointment is a long wait to be picked up from the airport, but the ride back to the airport was timely and comfortable.

We stayed only for one night because it was near the airport Malpenza. Very friendly reception (seemed like small family buissness). A good choice but the price a little hight for the concept (decoration)of the rooms.

This is a GREAT hotel - MINUTES from the airport. Call and get explicit directions from the hotel - very hard to find if you take the wrong exit (there are 3) and no one to ask late at night on the street.
