Hotel Bosquet - Carcassonne

Great price and free parking but not walking distance from the city. Factor in €10 each way for a taxi. Other than that, very comfortable, albeit lacking in character.

Since the hotel had recently changed hands, it was not well known and despite the signs, we had difficulty finding it. It was within a few minutes of the old city. There was some noise in the morning as a large tour group and hunters left early; the doors were rather noisy and ours needed repair. However, these are small points - we appreciated the helpful staff, the tea service in the rooms, the well appointed bathroom, free parking and available WiFi. The restaurant appeared to have an interesting menu but when we enquired, we were told that it was fully reserved for the tour group.

Se siete arrivati a Carcassonne e avete deciso di soggiornarvi pure, questo è senz'altro l'hotel che fa per voi. Nulla di che, ma pulito, con stanze che vanno oltre il due stelle. Impiegati gentili, parcheggio gratuito, sistemazione un po' fuori dal centro.. ma tanto la città offre davvero poco. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo rispetto a quanto gli è intorno. Vince senz'altro il premio "Cattedrale nel deserto". Per quanto riguarda tutta la città vecchia è molto bella anche se da un po' l'idea di finto. Se sei italiano, qualcosa di simile l'hai già visto...

The Bosquet is an unassuming hotel, very conveniently located to visit Carcassone old town.For the low price they charge it is an excellent deal. The breakfast buffet for 7Euros was amazing. Check in and check out was extremely easy.

We reserved two rooms. Things are a bit worn, but seem well taken care of. There was s bit of a smell in both of the bathrooms that was annoying.

I enjoyed my stay.

Very good breakfast. Wheelchair accessible.
