Hotel Reviews 'A Paziella

Capri is a very expensive place, and this hotel was reasonable given the quality. Located right in capri town, it is easy to walk to all the attractions of the city. Pool was nice (although not heated and pretty cold), and the front desk staff were very helpful and eager to help us get the most out of our time on capri.

The staff was excellent to present their mind of services and avaiability. We got the feeling of beeing "the one and only".

The hotel is only a few steps away from the famous Piazzetta, well located, well facilitated, and the staff is so helpful and polite. I stronly recommend to all both leisure and corportate travellers who look for comfort.

Great location near the main piazza but just outside the hustle and bustle. The hotel is nicely set back from the main street/entrance to give it a park-like feel. You get the impression that you are in your own little oasis yet just steps aways from shops. The service was fantastic and the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Suggestions on restaurants were good (try the Il Geranio) and reservations and directions were helpfully provided. The property shares a pool with another hotel which has a bar/lunch patio underneath a network of lemon trees. Try the lemon granita which is very nice and fresh and one of the best on the island. All in all you cannot go wrong with this hotel (location, quality and service)! The rooms are of average size for Italy (not too big), but who spends so much time in your room when you have so much to see and enjoy!

A wonderful small hotel, well-located with friendly, helpful staff, nice rooms and stylish decor, close to Capri center but very quiet. A winner!

A real gem, don't miss this small, perfect hotel. A rare find on the Capri island.Rooms and service comparable to the Hotel Punta Tragara, but check their prices....

I stayed in a room with a double bed that was perfect for one person. Two people may have been a little bit tight but definitely could be done. The hotel staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The hotel itself was very charming and perfect for a weekend in Capri. I'd recommend Hotel 'A Paziella to any of my friends.

An excellent hotel where you feel welcome. The quality vs. price ratio is really excellent.

This hotel was in an ideal location - close enough to the action, but far away enough to enjoy the peacefulness. It is a very nice hotel with spacious rooms. The lack of elevator makes is a bit of a challenge for those traveling with excess baggage/suitcases since you'll need to climb how many floors (depending on where your room is located). The view from our rooms was beautiful and the accessories within the room (bath robe and slippers) was a nice added touch. The room was quite expensive, but so is just about everything on Capri.

Very nice hotel, a little bit old style but inline with the rest of capri hotels. Very kind and smilling people. A would expect a little bit more from the extra services since 120E/night for a single room is not a small price. In any case it is a very good choice for a clean and quiet stay in Capri.

lovely surroundings, breakfast a bit skimpy, great location, service, small rooms, but maybe the price is good for Capri?

This is the third time I go to Capri in recent years and Pazziella was always my preferred choice. The quality of service is always at high levels.

I loved this hotel. The people were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was decent and the value for price was incredible. Such nice touches: eg. (though I did not use them) there were a pair of slippers and a bathrobe available in the bathroom. I had a lovely view out my window of the hillside and part of the Mediterrainian. I highly recommend this hotel and will use it again when I go to Capri.

This was meat to be our honeymoon. Initially they tried to give us the 'superior room' that had the 'best view' the view was of a dirt roof top. They actually wanted to charge an extra €50 per night for that ! There was never a toilet roll replaced, we had to ask every time. Breakfast was awful, when I asked for an omlete I was given an oil drenched, uncooked egg omlete which they failed to inform me would cost €8 each....! When I checked out I queried the above regarding the omlete prices and he just shrugged his shoulders and laughed.

I got bumped by the airline so I was one day late to arrive. I emailed the situation to the custom service but no response. I also called the property promptly to give the information, but I was still charge with the night that I cannot arrive physically.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and greatly enjoyed it. Capri is generally expensive and L'A Paziella is a good deal given the circumstances. The hotel location is excellent - 3 minute walk to Capri Center, yet isolated from the noise. The room was clean, with excellent AC, and the staff was very helpful, pleasant, and informative. Our room had a great terrace, unfortunately, there was a loud group of kids in the hotel across from us and we had some trouble falling asleep. Breakfast is OK with good cappuccinos. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Un hotel con un'ottima accoglienza e trattamento in un ambiente fresco e riposante. La camera singola piccola, ma ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

I would recommend A' Paziella - the room (with balcony) seemed very nice for the price, and the location was close to the most desirable areas in Capri. The staff was very nice and helpful.

This was probably the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Italy. It's not cheap but nor was anything and for the price, the hotel was actually the best value. It's a great location (near but not on top of Capri Town), with an extremely courteous staff. I only wish we stayed a few extra days.

A Paziella was a haven of peace in a busy narrow street in August. The garden was very pretty with quiet shady areas with seats and courful flowers. The area was covenient, quaint and interesting with many small shops selling a great variety of quality but affordable goods.

We had 5 excellent nights at this hotell and we really enjoyed every minute off it. The location of the hotell is perfect. It's a few minutes away from the main square, but is still very central. We had a nice big room with a big balcony. And the view from our balcony was almost perfect. If I should point out some negative things it would be that there were some minor wear and tear that should be taken care of. Nothing that really influenced our stay, it just didn't look too good when the screws on one of the towel-holders had almost fallen out. It would only have taken a few minutes to fix. But then we didn't bother complaining about it either. So except for that minor detail we really had a nice stay.

I only wish breakfast included muesli/oatmeal porridge. Reception staff are very friendly. Complimentary toiletries from Etro are a nice surprise.

By car
Capri can be reached by ferry or hydrofoil from either Naples or Sorrento.
Transportation from Naples is available either at the port of Mergellina or molo Beverello, however it is much more convenient to depart from molo Beverello because of the greater frequency of departures.

Passing through via Marina and Piazza Municipio, molo Beverello can be reached in around 20 minutes. Park your car in Napoli at one of the garages or carparks indicated on your left. The trip to Capri takes about 40 minutes by hydrofoil and 80 minutes by ferry.
Once you disembark at Marina Grande in Capri, take the funicolare(aerial tramway) to la Piazzetta. The hotel can be reached on foot in around 3 minutes from there. Take via delle Botteghe all the way to the hotel.
By train
If you arrive at the Stazione Centrale in Naples, take tram line 1 or the R2 bus to reach Piazza Municipio, which is situated minutes from the molo Beverello, the principle departure point for the bay Islands.
By airplane
Molo Beverello can be reached from Napoli Capodichino Airport by taxi or bus. The bus, operated by the CLP company, leaves from the airport arrivals side every 30 minutes. Tickets can be purchased on the bus, and the trip takes about 30 minutes under normal traffic conditions.
