Hosts tried very hard to please. Even offered to cook lasagne when it was determined that local restaurants featuring the dish we closing for vacation. Leonardo d'Vinci's birthplace is just minutes away by car. Perfect location for a drive into the Tuscan hills

Very nice hotel with modern and practical amenities. Fantastic staff, helpful friendly and making us feel at home. The access ramp to the parking was a bit intimidating for a North American used to wider driving conditions, but I quickly got used to it. Breakfast is plentiful and the coffee was "buenissimo". The surrounding villages of Montelupo and Capraia were very charming - as were their inhabitants. The Hotel I'Fiorino is conveniently close to the train station (5 minute walk) and restaurants. Take the time to hike up to the nearby church and admire the splendid view of the Arno River valley.
