Hotel THB Guya Playa - Cala Ratjada, Capdepera

I like to stay at THB Guya Playa but this year (4th time there) I had some problems with the room. I asked for a Studio and they gave me an Apartment, which is in the zone of the hotel where there is more noise. Furthermore in the apartment the TV is in the lounge but it is preferable to have it also in the bedroom. The kitchen did not work, the light in the kitchen was broken, the hairdryer was broken and one of the doors of the wardrobe was broken. The problems were solved after asking three times and the hairdryer was repaired after two weeks (a substitute were available with a deposit). Did nobody check anything before opening the hotel this year? The rooms need a restyling and a safe with numeric key is necessary (it's a nonsense to go ahead with the safe key on the beach!). Anyway I would return to the hotel because its position is perfect, but the quality is decreasing and a 4 star hotel should be better than that.

I want just to underline that this hotel is very close to Cala Ratjada, which is very beautiful. Furthermore, you can cook in the little kitchen in the apartment and reduce the overall costs. The hotel is near the pubs and the restaurants and I exhort you to go there.

The hotel is in a very good position, near Cala Agulla (there's a pedonal street near the sea that brings you from the hotel to the seaside) and there are a lot of markets and restaurants. This is a Aparthotel, so you suggest to have lunch and dinner in your room, but you risk not to have your room cleaned (there a restaurant inside the hotel too). However a small lunch in a coffee or restaurant is not very expensive. In this place there are a lot of Deutsch people, so it's quiet and tranquil :-) In the end, I recommend this place especially to young boys before August 16-17th (after this date a lot of Italians arrive...).
