The hotel is in a great location, very accessible to good restaurants in Agropoli and to the temple and museum complex. The breakfast was very good. The room was quite small, but clean. In fact, we could hardly fit 2 people plus luggage in the room so had to use the floor space and walk around the luggage. However, we would stay there again.

The ruins at Paestum are gorgeous but difficult. Directions were not clear and signage at the ruins themselves was contradictory or non-existent. No accommodations at all for handicapped at the ruins. (Some at the hotel, but still a number of steps.)

Our room and bath were very comfortable and clean, though perhaps a little more "worn" than as seemed on the picture - but not in anyway anything to be a problem. The staff (owners?) were extremely welcoming and helpful - we were even given a ride by private car to the ruins the following morning. Location on the beach was nice, though we had very bad weather during our stay so couldn't enjoy it. The location is a long walk from the train station, but we could have had a ride if we had called. Our room was a great value in the off-season - included a reasonable breakfast with good coffee. I would definitely stay here again for the value and the friendly staff.

Capaccio-Paestum is situated 43 km/27 miles away from Salerno and you can get there by taking the A3 highway and exiting at Battipaglia. You then continue along the SS18 state road until you get to Paestum.
