Hotel Clorinda - Paestum, Capaccio

An impressive looking hotel from the entrance with a lovely foyer, bar and pool area. The rooms however were very small and the walls thin (we had a crying baby next door that was very easy to hear) and our older children were in another room that was very cramped and also had thin walls. The decor in the rooms was starting to look dated and was showing signs of wear and tear. The balcony door on our room was almost impossible to open it was so stiff. The breakfast was nice in the breakfast room however the staff were a bit surly. The receptionist however on check in and out was helpful and friendly. Not centrally located, you will need a car to drive to food - the first pizzeria on the left as you drive back in towards town is excellent by the way! Unfortunately we left our pool towels at the hotel and we contacted them about getting them forwarded to us during a long stay in another part of Italy. They had been found and held for us however they required us to organise a courier to pick them up - impossible when we're in another country and don't speak the language - rather than them organise it and us pay them for the service, which was a bit disappointing considering the price they charge. Overall, a modern hotel but overpriced for the rooms and service compared to others we've experienced in Italy.
