San Giorgio Hotel is located in Caorle, on the Venetian Coast, a few km East of Venice. The town, whose origins dates back to Roman times, features modern buildings and facilities along the shoreline.

- extreme Lärmsituation wegen Baustelle im Hafen - keine Strandpflege (Müll, tote Fische, etc.) - Stadtanbindung an Caorle nicht gegeben + Poolanlage gepflegt + Parkmöglichkeit Resume: kein "echtes" 4 Sterne Hotel (wenn man die Strandanlagen mitbetrachtet)

This is a great location for a holiday, peaceful, with beach and easy to access (by bike) local places of interest (the ancient reed fishermens village)and the hotel provides bikes for guests to get around on - very flat landscape! The staff were helpful and we found an excellent restaurant nearby (Gente di Mare)as we were B&B guests, and ate there quite often. Would go to Caorle again.

Location map is useless: bridge shown over river has not existed for several years! Local signage is reliable. Very much a family hotel - not much peace for couples without children. All staff really helpful and quality of room facilities excellent!

Hotel located in overspill area rather than central to Caorle,one taxi in resort cost 13 euros each way & last bus back 10.30pm,totally isolated.If you are English expect rude unhelpful waiters,showing no interest whatsoever. Area around hotel is run down,neglected & too far away from anywhere,Hotel,whilst clean,in need of makeover,not anywhere near your typical 4 star,fresh fruit rather than tinned would have been nice at breakfast

my overall experience was quite good although i was very disappointed with the quality of the room. I travel a lot for work and stay in hotels all over the world.I thought the room was very basic for a 4star hotel.it looked more like a 3star.Also it was very noisy with loud music heard till late at night. I don't think i will go back to that hotel again.Not very good value for money. The only advantage was that it was very easy to book online unlike other hotels in the area.

Clearly this hotel is geared to full/half board guests rather than those on a B&B basis. No room service available other than the same meals as served in the restaurant and then only during the limited restaurant hours. No snacks available at other times. Swimming pool and beach area very good. Charged triple room rates for baby in cot.

Staff was helpful, especially Michaelia at the front desk, in assisting on other travel plans, and directing us to local places to visit... Rooms were small and a bit dated, very small bathrooms with the shower integrated as is common in Europe. For a family of four, we were a bit crowded in the room - the intent was to use the resort and beach which were both very nice - the weather unfortunately did not cooperate - so we spent more time inside than we would have otherwise. Breakfast consisted of a broader buffet than usual including eggs, meats, etc. All in all, would recommend for a family seeking a vacation on the beach. Very family oriented resort in a quiet seaside town.

The nearest railway station is Portogruaro (approximately 20 km).
