the location was the best part of the hotel. about a 5 min walk from the beach. the room was not bad, you get what you pay for. the only odd thing was the shower, no curtain and you had to hold the shower head while showering, no wall mount. a decent place to stay though.

We enjoyed our 2 nights stay very much! We had found a special offer at venere.com, so the price/quality rating was excellent! Otherwise, I think it is rather expensive. The pictures on the webside correspond to the style but not to the state of the furniture. Our room needed refurbishment but there was refurbishment going on in other rooms ... The owners and the staff were very friendly and kind! Over all, I can highly recommend the Ruc Hotel!

The staff was very gentle and competent, even if they don't speach italian very well they tryied their best to get understood! Nice hotel, delicious atmosphere!!We went there to celebrate New Years Eve and the location was perfect to reach the city-centre just in few minutes walk..we didn't need to move the car for the whole staying!(and the car park was free in front of the hotel!) The only problem is that the rooms are not soundproof...

Nice hotel... Huge room and bathroom. Decorating was old school -- felt like I was staying in a French palace. The shower was typically European (i.e. no shower curtain) so water went all over the bathroom whenever you took a shower.

WE were surprised at the quality for money we had at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and courteous and helpful.It is not a deluxe Hilton, but very clean, quiet and handy for Cannes.

How to reach Ruc Hotel

By car
From highway A8, take exit 42, direction Cannes centre. Enter Cannes and proceed on Boulevard Carnot (road N85), then turn left on Boulevard du Ferrage (road N7). Proceed on Boulevard de Lorraine (road N7), then take Boulevard d'Alsace and turn right on Boulevard de Strasbourg, where the hotel lies.
