Hotel Renoir - Cannes

I had only problem with garage: the key didn,t work all time.

I vacationed in Paris and Cannes with my wife and daughter; this hotel far exceeded our expectations. It was well located, and the staff couldn't have been any friendlier or more helpful. We paid half the price of the Paris hotel, and it was twice as nice.

L'immeuble est très joli. La décoration m'a beaucoup plu. Le personnel est charmant mais manque de professionalisme (ex: ne frappe pas avant d'entrer dans la chambre). Pas de citron pour le thé au petit déjeuner. Une grosse tache d'humidité dans la chambre. Il serait judicieux de donner comme repère l'hôtel de police pour trouver l'hôtel. Mais l'impression générale a été positive. Nous avons rencontré des étrangers, et cet hôtel correspond aux établissements que nous fréquentons généralement.

I was on a business trip and planned to stay over for the week end, and chose the Renoir due to it's high tripadvisor rating and good price. I also staid at the "Residence Home Business" which my company paid for, but was twice as expensive and half the quality. It is a charming hotel strategically located. It is 300 mt from the railway station and 200 mt away from the place Vedome stop for the "210" direct bus to the airport. Rooms are spacious and well designed. Staff was extremely helpful, beyond any expectation (example the receptionist lugged up by foot the luggage that would not fit in the lift just so that I did not have to wait for it). We had our 4 month old baby with us, so we chose the "Junior suite" which at 99€uro was a real bargain. One large bedroom and one small "studio" where they fitted a cot. Room 403 is on the last floor and also has a lovely balcony with a good view of the hills. There are also rooms on the other side looking towards the sea, but I did not see them but be careful for noise as they are overlooking a busy street. Only think to be aware of is that they have "English" style thick carpets and if you are allergic to dust you might find it disturbing.

I was visiting Cannes on a business trip with my colleague. The Renoir was an excellent choice. Well situated near by the Palais, but far off enough to pay a decent rate. Room was VERY clean and well fitted. The only real downside was the internet, we had to pay 30 euros per person per day for internet access. That is ridiculous, especially when you are on a business trip. For me that could be a reason to choose another hotel next time, because this adds a substantial amount to the room rate. For the rest: Breakfast is good, rooms are close to perfect, very clean and I definitely enjoyed my stay!

The Hotel Renoir was lovely. Big spacious beautiful rooms, and helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again. The only downfall is that it is about a 15-20 minute walk to the hotel's private beach. If you want to go to the public beach, off the Croisette, then location is ok. Very close to major shopping, Rue D'antibes.

We stayed in cannes for 3 nights after arriving from Nice. The hotel was in a great location and it was lovely to receive a complimentary upgrade to our room on our arrival. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and happy to suggest great restaurants and sights to visit. We would not hesitate to re-book this hotel on our return to Cannes and recommend it to others.

First visit, and we were very impressed with the Renoir. Very friendly and competent staff. Good location, only 5 minutes walk from La Croisette.

We spent three nights. Loved the Renoir. Very friendly gentleman at reception. Loved room and having an upgrade. Delighted with that. Loved breakfast served in own room.Very comfortable,great bathroom and great nights sleep. What more can you ask. Thank you.

The room interior is newly renovated and very stylysh. The rooms are extremely clean and quiet. The hotel location is just perfect - in a nice quiet street just 5 minutes walk from the center. The staff is friendly, but pityfully small, it consists of the only person at the reception desk. There is no restaurant, only a small buffet in the hall downstairs, the continental breakfast is served in rooms, but we never tried it, we used a cafe in the street some 50 meters from the hotel. Overall the hotel is charming and we would be happy to return there.

Walking distance from train station and next door to a police station. Convenient to tourist areas and very safe. Will stay there again. Room was actually a two room suite with refrigerator and small cooktop.
