Hotel La Villa Tosca - Cannes

Would have preferred a better breakfast for the 13Euro/person; but will return when next in Cannes.

Excellent hotel ; very quiet ( street reserved for pedestrians ); stayed 4 nights ; close to Railway station ( 100 m ) with it's clean and well kept parking ( with -10% fare from hotel ). Excellent breakfast. A pearl !

Great location, very close to Rue D'Antibes for great shopping, close Croisette and beaches (5-10 minute walk to most everything), minutes to train station. Super friendly and helpful staff. Bathrooms were just renovated and look very nice.

Excellent localization.

The hotel is situated next to bars and restaurants, so in the first (and I suppose also 2nd and 3rd) floor, it's too noisy, even when you cose the window. In adition to that, I can't recommend the 1st florr, because of the breakfast which is from 7:30-10:00 and start right under your bed(...).The rooms are small, bit very nice and comfortable. I was suprised about the hudge breakfast, which is not normal in France and the big socializing breakfast table. There is no parking place or area, you have to pay or to stay far away from the hotel...

Employees are very friendly and smiling! The rooms are clean but you can hear the people walking in the corridors and the stairs.

For, what was a last minute booking(almost literally!!) I was pleased with the stay. Pluses are hotel location ; quietness of rooms for such a built up area ; cleanliness and friendliness of staff. Minuses? No coffee/tea making facility in room and I would say that the hotel was roughly £100 sterling overpriced.

Hotel reccomended for a fast holyday or a two/three working day time.

A lovely boutique hotel in very central location, beautifully furnished and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay again.

Nice Hotel. Good location near shopping district. Rooms a little small but good price for the area.

The entrance of the hotel is just a small door on the wall and the reception is in a narrow hall. But the staff is very welcoming and they speak good english, the location of the hotel is exellent, just a block from the shopping street and a nice lunchrestaurant - Casanova - right outside of the hotel. We stayed in a 3-persons room which was small, but just big enough for the 3 of us. The beds were good and not to hard to sleep on, but the bathroom was very small so just 1 person could fit in at the same time. But it was nice and clean. To have breakfast at the hotel we did not try, because it is usually more inexpensive to go to the nearest breakfast restaurant and you will get a better meal there. Just a few blocks to the left in the same street as the hotel we found a nice place where you could get full American breakfast, I do not remember the name but it was something with "Pizza" in it. The French are not always too fond of tourists and can be a bit arrogant, but the town of Cannes is a lovely and clean spot. Despite it is a bit more expensive to eat out here than many other places in France, we will definately come back here when the beach-season starts, and I would not hesitate to reccomend the hotel La Villa Tosca to my friends.

Car parking is a problem. When we arrived, around 20.00, beds were parked in the NARROW corridor at the hotel entrance. Not a nice impression at the beginning!

Nice german and swiss (I think) guests. Personal and professional staff. Size of hotel just in my taste.

We spent two nights at this establishment. It has a great location near the train station, main shopping strip, and restaurants. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Our room was relatively quiet. Bed was firm. However, the carpeting in this place is very old and dirty. Room was smaller than what the website advertised. Not bad for the price we paid. The sign says 3 stars but the hotel itself is basically a 2 star with a newer bathroom. BTW, remember to keep your reservation confirmation with the price quoted...When we checked out, we we asked to pay the listed hotel price even though we were quoted something lower when we booked.

Very nice clean well presented hotel in the heart of cannes. the staff are excellent. make sure you take the superb breakfast.

I think that moquet should be cleaned better

Nice hotel in excellent location, only two minutes walk from the train station, a minute's walk from the main shopping street and about a five minute walk to the beach. Fairly spacious rooms, decorated in a contempory fashion. Lovely lounge/breakfast area.

Rather small but very nice hotel. Would happily stay there again. The only negative thing to say is the it would have been nice if the number of seats for breakfast would have been higher. The breakfast was very nice but a little bit to expensive.

Excellent location for the price. Room was clean and bathroom looked recently renovated. Staff was friendly. I highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the train and a short walk to the beach. Very central to all evening activities and for a stroll on the Croisette, lots of restaurants and cafes in immediate vicinity. This was our first time at Hotel La Villa Tosca and we would definitely stay there again!

A very nice and clean place with a beautiful decoration and modern equipment. It was a pleasure to stay here. Only one big table for the breakfast, so do not expecting so much intimity at this time (or in your room). Good located.

La Villa Tosca was wonderful! The room and bathroom were perfectly clean, the staff was so helpful and kind, and the location was perfect - central yet quiet. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. I never had the breakfast there though so can't comment on that. They also let us leave our bags at the hotel all day until our train left that night and we were free to come and go as we pleased if we needed to use the restroom or get things out of our bags...very accommodating!

The hotel is very useful because is near to the city centre and to the most beauties. Recommended.

Overall I would return to this hotel. Very well located but the main lobbey very small. No swimming pool but very close to the beach and on main shopping street.

Great place to stay, will recommend this hotel to anyone. The room we had was just right, location of the hotel good and the staff could not be more friendly. They got my vote!

The hall behind of the entrance is large no more than one meter and half and tre meter long .neverthless the rooms are nice furnished and clean.nice breakfast room.very good position to reach all city place

For the price we was not expecting much but was very happy with the hotel. The staff was very frendly and coped with my poor French very well.

Overall it was a great hotel, but our shower was broken. While we were able to use it for the most part, we did have to walk a couple buildings down to use the hall shower at another hotel.
