Hotel Cavendish - Cannes

One of the best hotels I ever stayed. The stuff is very helpfull and welcoming. The great weekend, thanks to the hotel's stuff

I would highly recommend this hotel

A really unusual hotel with bags of character. Our rotunda room on the top floor was fantastic with a "wrap round" balcony. The welcome was charming and the staff were lovely. Our favourite was the friendly evening waiter who was so proud of the fact that he had worked at the hotel since its refurbishment about 8 years ago. Extra-special touches are the free bar every evening from 5pm to 11pm where you can enjoy a selection of drinks and "nibbles". Also the breakfasts which, although "continental" style, included special touches like homemade preserves and, one morning, a delicious warm bread and butter pudding type of dish which was fabulous. Good location - only a short stroll to the Croisette and lots of lovely eating places and bars. Only downside - the bathroom was too warm in the hot weather. Overall quite an expensive hotel but worth it for the bit of luxury on offer.

Ottima posizione,comodo alla stazione, al centro città ed alla Criosette che si raggiunge in 10 minuti a piedi,nelle vicinanze negozi di ogni genere, un supermercato, una farmacia e negozi di souvenir.Il personale è molto disponibile ma non comprende l'italiano.Ottima comunicazione in inglese.

The hotel does not have a private parking. If you come by the car and you need to use it frequently, you perhaps wish to choose another hotel.

A small and very nice hotel, near to Croisette and restaurants

In my opinion Cannes is more beautiful than other places of Cote d'azur. The Cavendish is a little hotel in a old palace in a good position, but it isn't a 3 star hotel, 2 star is better to want be large. I have pay 20€ for garage, but there is not a garage, they parking my car in a street near the Cavendish! 175€ is the cost and not 150....

It was our first time in cannes and e really enjoyed our stay at the cavendish hotel. will definantly come again.

This hotel has interesting archiecture and does have a nostalgic 1920s feel about it. The staff are the most helpful and friendly that we have come across and the free bar concept certainly is nice. The room however, was disappointing, it was tatty (holes in the carpet) in great need of an updata and the bed - well put it this way I've spent a lot of money seeing my chiropractor since sleeping in the bed. Can't say enough good things about the staff though.

Lovely hotel! Nicely appointed room, attractive bathroom with quality fixtures. Staff was attentive, friendly, helpful and responsive. Good restaurant suggestions, and investigated to help me find my way to my next hotel. Highly recommended!

One twin and one double souperior room

The only one thing I have to say is that nobody cared about the safe, which does not work. Although I announced it several times. (Room 10)

The hotel is in a newly restored belle epoque building close to the end of boulevard Carnot, one of the main streets of access to the city centre of Cannes. Pros: nice and small hotel, friendly and useful personnel, stylish building. Cons: room interiors did not fully live up to my expectations for a 4 star hotel, small public areas, 5 minutes walking in the "traffic" before getting to the Cannes center. Beutifully restored original elevator, but not very suitable for the buggy.

We would not hesitate to return
