Excellent hotel in good location. Bedroom & bathroom were spacious and the entire hotel was spotless. Within 5/7 minutes walking distance of train and bus station. there is a small local bus which passes in front of the the hotel which goes to the Hotel de Ville via the main train/bus station. Breakfast appeared to be good but was expensive at €18.50 per head.There is an excellent daily one/two course lunch & dinner available at €11/€16 respectively but there is very little choice so you either like the selection or go elswhere. There is an excellent restaurant restaurant Bistot Margaux just across from the train/bus station with a 3 course meal available for under €14 with an excellent choice.

The room was unfortunately very loud in the night! drunk guests were sitting around the pool and made a lot of noise between 2 and 4 am in the morning. furthermore, also between that time other guests in the room above my room made a lot of noise and it was not stopped by the hotel personnel. the hotel personnel could be more poilte, discret and fast as well as service-oriented. although i heavily tipped the room service (5 EUR for bringing me a hairdryer for example), the service was not improved. compared to a 5 star luxury hotel, the service was very poor, also because the personnel commented on my requirements - what is very unusual in a luxury hotel regarding the room, it was clean and with nice furniture and design
