Quinta Splendida Wellness Botanical Garden hotel is located in Caniço, in the island of Madeira. The main building is a 19th century Manor House, rich in antiquities and paintings.
Due to its perfect design and natural beauty, the Quinta Splendida Wellness & Botanical Garden has been given the Golden Estrelicia award by the government of Madeira, as well as the Gold Crown and the Holly awards by international tour operators.
The beauty of the resort, the service offered and the excellent food make this property ideal for an unforgettable holiday experience.
The main attractions of the resort are the heated outdoor swimming pool and its solarium, the garden, 3 restaurants, 2 bars, the new 1400 sqm spa & wellness center, and the health center.
You can make use of the hotel's Internet access free of charge at the computer near the reception. There is also free wireless Internet access outside one of the bars.

Quinta Splendida Botanical Garden offers five types of accommodation: standard twin rooms, studios, one or two bedroom apartments, and SPA suites. The accommodations are located in spacious cottages around the gardens and the swimming pool.
All the apartments and studios offer a kitchenette, a private bathroom and a balcony or terrace with either sea or garden views.
The double rooms feature a mini bar instead of a kitchenette, a private bathroom and some of them also have a private balcony or terrace.
The spacious open-plan suites range from 80 to 115 sqm, and they have innovative colours schemes, a 42 inch plasma screen satellite TV with DVD player, a PC with complimentary Internet access, Italian avant-garde furniture, a king-sized bed, plus luxurious bathroom fittings. Children under 16 years old cannot stay in the spa suites.
Moreover, all accommodations feature safety deposit box, satellite TV, radio and telephone.

Often no running hot water for shower and shaving. Less hot water if other occupants in immediate area. Hot water finished by 8.30am. Breakfast and meal prices far too high compared to excellent restaurants in vicinity, much better to eat-out. Car-hire fairly expensive and cash only. However hotel grounds very pleasant. Reception staff very pleasant but often too busy.

A very well designed hotel beautifully landscaped into the surrounding area. Lovely gardens well kept. Staff very friendly and well trained. Gourmet restaurant La Perla deserves it's reputation. Would certainly like to return to Quinta Splendida.
