Allstar Canak Hotel - Çanakkale

The hotel is situated very close to the ferryboats and to the restaurants at the waterside. We liked very much sitting in the bar and also in the restaurant on top of the building because of the vieuw to the big ships passing by. People were very friendly and helpfull and there was also a possibility to park our car safely.

We stayed in Canakkale to visit Galipolli and the Canak Hotel proved to be adequate but not spectacular. The bathroom was a little old with the bath / shower permanently stained although not very badly. We we given a suite with a large sitting room and an odd (and useless for us) room with a small table and chairs. This would normally be a bonus but the location of the TV and the uncomfortable lounge chairs unfortunately made it a loss rather than a bonus. The breakfast was good as was the general location of the hotel.

Good hotel, especially for transit; clean rooms, size of the room could vary, in my first stay I have a large room like an apartment, in the second stay the room was smaller. But the price/quality is very good.

Overall excellent. The reason you only got a 7 for employee competence was that despite having a "do not disturb" sign on door, someone knocked & tried to enter when we were in bed. Maybe you should change your signs so that they correspond with road signs. Green =enter. Red = stop. We did have those at the Niles Hotel in Istanbul. We thought they were excellent.

hotel is located near the ferryboat station and a hub of activities. There are many good restaurants and it was nice to walk around at night. From the comments made of the this hotel, we expected a more posh property. But it was strictly no frills. The lobby was very small but functional. So was the breakfast area. The room and bathroom were small with a pocket terrace, big enough for only one person to stand in. For the price and the location, though, a good choice for a stay in Canakkale.

During check-out they asked us to wait while they verified that we didn't use the frigobar as we said. Never happened before! :-(((

after3 months and 11 venere hotels, this has to be rated the best,upon arrival we were greeted by reception very warmly, then we proceeded to our very spotless room, the housemaids were ımmacutely dressed as were the rest of the staff. rooms were spotless. couldnt work the computer the manager offered me his laptop. the surprise though was the restaurant, as we usually go check the cafes, this time we went to the 7th floor and had dınner. a hint to prospective customers.... go there first great meal, great service and a very good price wıth a great view of the harbour. really enjoyed our stay after touring europe for 3 months, now back to new zealand and thanks venere.
