Hotel Valmarina - Calenzano

The staff at Valmarina were very courteous and helpful. The rooms were clean and everything worked (elevator, air conditioning, etc.) We stayed 5 nights and the bed wasn't really comfortable enough for that long, but it would be ok for a shorter stay. Also, the walls are thin and a lot of noise comes through from the hall and nearby rooms. The hotel is in an industrial type area, with not much nearby, and the bus to Florence takes 40-60 mins depending on traffic, so the location is not ideal without a car. Breakfast is not included in the price, but we did get a free cappuccino at the bar.

No dio las comodidades que podía dar un hotel de ese precio (heladera en la habitación, desayuno buffet incluído). El desayuno lo cobraban aparte y era muy limitado. La zona en que se encuentra es industrial, y el mismo conserje nos aconsejó no salir a caminar por ahí.

We have been the first time at Hotel Valmarina. It is a very nice, extreemly clean hotel.The staff was very polite and welcoming. We would like to stay there again. Busstop to Firence is 3 minutes walkway from the hotel, the cheapest and easiest was to go to firence even when you arrive by car, because the parkingspace is very expensive there. All together it was a nice stay there and we can recommend the hotel warmest

Breakfast worse, less variations of break, mostly instant packaged crackers (just italian breakfast). Good room..... clean... quiet.. Staff speak worse english... We stayed 4 nights.

I asked a family room for two adults and one child but I found not a double bed room but 3 single beds in a room

Shower was surrounded by two folding glass doors and leaked all over the floor, causing a unsafe situation.
