A very nice hotel, very big but the location and the services are good. My girlfriend and me are satisfictied by Top Olympic for clearly rooms, various and good food (probably most Germany oriented), silence in the night and gently people of the equipe. Its ideal to visit Calella and its beautiful streets, pubs and more of 400 shops! Excellent sea and beach. We will back next year!

This is a low cost hotel....but good value for the money. Don't expext top quality food .. when we looked at it, we paid €1 each for breakfast, & €1 each for dinner....so we paid for what we got. Staff were helpful and fun. Walls are thin, and often drunken holiday makers make noise in the rooms or corridors and can be heard everywhere...ie drunk late night buffoons! (kids and or overweight adults) Great place to meet obese grumpy english... Note they do a drinks included deal...and I guess a few people have too much to drink & are roudy with it. One fat tattooed Scottish girl who was around alot swore loudly every other word. Large bar area has a disco playing popular disco music nightly...ideal for family dancing. Typical cheap british holiday hotel (c 1970).

This hotel is cheap and cheerful but the problems i read about on other websites were true. Very noisy, paper thin walls. However for the price i thought it was good. Not enough choice of food for vegetarians tho!

We used this hotel as a base for visiting Barcelona, Figueres, and Tossa del Mar (not a resort stay in Calella) as hotel prices in Barca itself are significantly more expensive. The hotel is obviously in dire need of modernisation - it is a typical 70's resort hotel, and yes we could hear everything in the adjoining rooms and the drunks returning to their rooms along the long corridors at night. The numerous CCTV cameras all over the hotel do nothing to make you feel secure, but create an eerie sense of foreboding. The rooms were clean albeit shabby - furnishing, towels, and bedding all well worn. It attracts the bottom end of the food chain tourist-wise, but they enjoy the 'all-inclusive' option and seemed happy staying in and around Calella and appeared to be making the most of the 'free' bar. Plenty of free entertainment if you can stomach it. The food was plentiful but the quality was nothing to write home about (some way below Tesco value standard). We survived one evening meal, and breakfasts each day (stick with cheese on toast or cereal), but ate away from the hotel at every opportunity. However, the hotel is decidedly cheap, so you pay your money and take your choice. We won't be back next year - but plenty will.

Good services and facilities. Only two remarks: room acoustics could be a problem (you can hear everything from aisle and nearby rooms), and restaurant's dishes not always are that clean. I recommend it with no doubts.

Me and my friend stayed at TOP Olympic, not to see Calella but to visit the wonderful Barcelona. The hotel was OK for living cheap and at the same time close to Barcelona. It was a bit further away than expected, the service among the employees were various, and the walls between the room did not seem to be very thick - so the quality of our sleep was not always as good.. If you are not in to english breakfast, you might want to consider eating somwhere else.. But overall if you are not there for the hotel-stay alone, it is a ok place to stay..

Stanze minuscole, male arredate, bagno pressochè inesistente.si sente ogni minimo rumore proveniente dalle stanze accanto.la piscina è una vasca da bagno.

I don`t remember ever in my life such a bad hotel! It`s dirty, noisy, the food is terrible, the service provided I should not write here. Just the simple fact to buy a coke in a machine was dificult! We forgot our mobile phone in the room and the Hotel couldn`t do anything about that. They were not even capable to find the phone. We had to call our own phone several times until the next guest in our room finally found it. But, even though, the next guest have brought the phone to the reception , they couldn`t do anything about it, not even provide a corrier service to send it to us. We, ourselves, had to contact a travel agency in Holand to pick our phone up. We were spending a week in Holland. We are from Canada and we thought we were going to have pleasent moments in the cost of Spain... What a deception!!!!!!!

The meals were concentrated on English kitchen. Most of the time the food was not hot enough. Luckely there was a microwave available. This was the worst we have ever eaten on our holidays. Although we had HB, we went out eating every night.

I used this hotel as a base for a couple of nights whilst visiting Gerona and Figueres. It is a typical 70's resort hotel which would benefit from updating. It was however clean, warm and comfortable and at £11 per person per night bed and breakfast the value for money was excellent!

A great hotel that matches the advertised description. The only minor setback is the poor noise isolation of the rooms.
