Great place, but wouldnt like to stay in the season, its too big and busy. Also be aware that they take students, who are very loud!

i worried the first time i booked to stay at the palace plus the price was fantastic but this is the second time i have been and would go back. when there are a lot of kids its noisy but show me a hotel that isnt in the holidays. food can be repetative and when we stopped in december there was no grill open, this is where the chef cooks in front of you, but there was always something to eat. calella is a lovely little place not busy like benidorm and without the night life but there are a couple of english pubs, the white horse just down the road from the hotel and further down the road alcatraz where you can have a game of bingo! loads of shops some good quality not trashy and a lovely beach. the beach bars were closed in december and a lot of shops just down the road from the hotel. in the summer a little train with take you around calella and pick you up again for a few euros. we enjoyed our stay and you cant get better value for money.

The relationship between price/quality was o.K. Next time we will come back. It is a sinple Hotel from the 70s, but still good for a short trip to have a party.

This Hotel ^basically should be knocked down. Food was like the bad old days in Spain. Many complaints made by others about how standards had dropped from last year. They are 30 years behind times and I will not go back to Spain.
