Hotel Santa Mónica - Calella

Same city could offer much better price/quality combination. Food was poor, reception was not competent enought to solve the proble, woth their voucher from the agent (I booked HB, but they insisted that only breakfast was included. Nevertheless the price was as for the HB). The situation was solved only the next day, when I in fact was ready to change the hotel. So many floors make it almost impossible to use elevator as it is always busy. Constraction woarks are going on near the hotel - so, no pretty view and no quaitness at all. Overall impression - wouldn't recomment to go there. Try Kaktus Playa itstead.

The hotel staff was very nice. Largest problem being other guests - i.e. four people celebrating until 2 a.m. in the room above, the 5:00 a.m. wake up call banging on the screaming neighbor girls' doors, etc. Rooms were simple but okay for the price - toilet did makie funny noises and walls were a bit worn.

Se dovessi tornare in zona , prenoterei in quell'albergo. Uno dei pochi difetti : distanza dalla stazione a piedi (20 minuti a piedi) : non i 500 metri indicati! Cmq il percorso verso la stazione è piacevole con tutti quei negozietti.

This was a great hotel. I would come back if I am in the area again.

Calella is a nice holiday site, and the hotel itself offers a good quality/price relationship. Only the food served in the restaurant should be of a higher quality. I had a good stay
