King Hotel - Cairo

The hotel is very clean. The staff are welcoming and helpful. Great breakfast. Location is okay as it is close to the metro, it is a bit of a way to the attractions. There is wi-fi, however only in the lobby not in the rooms. There is a supermarket near by.

I have stayed at the King Hotel 3 times and it has always been great. The hotel is a very good deal for the price and is close enough to walk to the museum area. I will stay there again the next time I go to Cairo.

Very good & safe location nearby metro-station, clean & cozy Hotel, not big, but comfortable rooms, all outlets have wireless internet, breakfast is perfect, amazing roof-top bar, especially in the evening. I would recommend this Hotel for all travellers, who wish to have excellent service for reasonable amount of money. Personal thank to the General Manager of King Hotel for organizing for us our trip around Egypt.

The wellcoming was very friendly untill they got the money of stay and tours, then they dissapeared. Our stay at the hotel was dissapointing in many ways, the services of city tours in Cairo real bad, consisting in a "driver" who hardly speak english,french or spanish taking you to the museum or pyramids(not the front entrance) but mainly to the wrong places to sell you things, I suggest people take your own cab to those places and you are gonna make a deal, then they left us behind at train station for 2 hours although we phone the hotel to warn them, and no apologies. They charge huge sums of money(80€)"extra" to get sleeping car in the train to Luxor when the full price is 15€. So if you do not have any other chance use it but be aware of all this.

Excellent Hotel for the category 3*, it is value of the money paid. I woud recommend this hotel to all Travellers, especially if they are travelling alone. The staff is very professional and friendly, they let you feel at home. Don't forget to visit roof-top bar, the view of Cairo is amazing

Basic, but very nice 3* Hotel in Cairo, very quite location. I liked competence of the staff and service, what they offer at the Hotel. In the evening it is very comfortable to relax in the rooftop-bar.

We stayed at the King for 5 nights and at the Cataract Pyramids for 2. The rooftop bar was very pleasant. The breakfast needed some variety...same everyday.

Very quite safe located Hotel, nearby center of Cairo! For category 3* - this Hotel is excellent choice for everyone, who cares about money and needs comfort. Staff is professional and very friendly! They offer perfect sightseeing with reasonable price. The bar on the roof is just amazing!

The hotel has perfect location, quite, safe place, but in the same time nearby most of historical sites. Staff was very friendly, rooms are clean, breakfast - very good for 3* Hotel. Roof-top bar is excellent!

Dont let even a coin in the room.
