Unlike a number of reviewers, I found this hotel very good value for money, and it definitely lived up to what I would expect in Egypt. It is a budget hotel, and it is therefore unwise to expect ***** quality. I would recommend Concorde to anyone seeking a convenient base in Cairo, at a reasonably-priced, no-frills, comfortable standard. The establishment is clean and tidy, the food is quite acceptable, and all of the staff are very friendly and helpful at all times. I have learned that it pays for customers to be polite and friendly in return, to get the best service. I spend much of the year living in another part of Egypt, and travel regularly to Cairo and other parts of the country, where I have experienced a number of more expensive hotels offering lower standards than The Concorde.
