Sardegna Hotel - Cagliari

Not very central (better have a car), but excellent value for money: competent, friendly, helpful staff, comfortable room, good breakfast, free WIFI.

In general the Hotel is O.K. The only handicap is the hotel is a bit long of the center of Cagliari, and surrounded of an industrial area.

An excellent hotel, very nice breakfast, and, in January, bargain rates. A bit far from the centro storico (45 min to an hour on foot), with not too many dining opportunities close by. But convenient for getting to the airport.

The welcome was very poor and unfriendly. We were just handed the key for our room with no direction to the lift,dining room, bar or help with luggage. We had to ask twice for someone to serve us at the bar. The barman/waiter was also unfriendly and the restaurant sevice was unsatisfactory as we were not offered the opportunity to taste the wine, cutlery was plonked on the table and no peppercorns in the grinder.

Price and service was really excellent. Recepcionist was very helpful Hotel is situated close to Airport and easy to leave the city if you travel by car.

A good hotel, the room was nice and we liked it. Everything was pretty new and very comfortable. I recommend it. The hotel is outside Cagliari and you really need a car to reach it. We used a taxi. The surroundings of the hotel are not that interesting - roads, parking, etc. It's reasonably near to the airport which is why we used it - we stopped at the hotel the evening that we landed.
