Idea Hotel Cagliari Santa Maria - Cagliari

The hotel is near to the center of Cagliari of course you need the to reach them. I recommend the Idea hotel for people that has the car to move around the area.

The location isn't the best but the city center is easily accessible with car.

I slept 4 days in this hotel with a B&B formula. The area around the hotel is well served with public transport. Every member of the staff was very kind and helpful, the breakfast was huge, rooms were always clean (although not very big). 100% RECOMMENDED!

When we arrived the room had not been cleaned yet and the bedsheets had not been changed yet! Nevertheless it was immediately done when I told this at the desk.

The hotel is comfortable, the staff is friendly. We had a reservation for one day when we arrived, and as the hotel is easy to reach from airport, we made another reservation for our last night in Sardignia. A good adress, cheap, clean, the restaurant is ok.

Hotel located near a very busy highway and a gas station. But the room was relatively quite. Excellent buffet breakfast. Very interesting prices

We stayed at the Jolly Hotel for 5 days total and loved it. Personnel was very helpful and extremely kind, we felt so good. The premise is very well equiped, the room and the bathroom were in excellent condition. And we were very lucky to have it all in one place. Price per night is also very, very satisfying, especially with breakfast included (and breakfast was excellent, made for everyone's taste). The thing we missed was a balkony, but at the end, we can live without it (having in mind that we spent a lot of time out in Cagliari). And the thing that could be improved in venere.com is adding more photos of the hotel rooms. Also, a bus lines airport-main bus station and main bus station-jolly hotel should be on the web site (in case of people who did not rent a car). And one more advise, renting a car at least 20 days ahead in the high season is essential (we could not find any cars available at the time of arrival - mid august). Finally, I would like to emphasize an exceptional stay in Jolly Hotel and would recommend it to everyone.

Breakfast terrible. No italian coffe, nor capuccino. No "normal" tea in the basket of the tea bags but only "aromatized". The meals at the restaurants are very low in quality and industrial. The Hotel is ok, spacious rooms but far from everything, no shuttle available. The parking cost 5€ per night not included in the room cost.

Worst hotel stay of my life. Unfriendly desk staff. The hotel's interrior has not been touched since some time in the 80's. Got into the very stiff bed to sleep and the neighbor's TV was at a moderate volume. It may as well have been in my room. I called the front desk and they solved the issue. Then the air conditioning turned off for some reason and would not turn back on. I had to open the window for fresh air. The sounds of trucks woke me up early in the morning. Also in the middle of the night a loud tapping noise woke me up! The breakfast was nothing special but the waitress was pleasant. I recommend spending a little more and staying somewhere else.

Breakfast was good, but the fruitjuices not at all.

Very good accomodation. In the dark it is difficult to see the notice board of the external parking. So, though the cost for one night is only 5 €, the following morning the effect of surprise is not nice
